Mana reservation explained?
I've already played a fair amount on different accounts on the stress tests. I'm not a casual gamer and what interests me most in games are mechanics, how polished they are, and how the developers use them. I've played every sort of PvP in a game that anyone could create.
Also, I'm not sure if you guys fully understand what I meant. Who in the hell would leave this aura active when they're idle? Just turn the ability off. Also, it's an obvious trade-off. Do an increased amount of damage for a duration based on how much mana you have left or until you turn it off. If you're planning to do some great mid-long termed burst, you could enable this aura for a few seconds to deal a lot of additional damage. Greater additional damage auras drain more mana per second. If you have little to no mana, then why would you enable this aura then? The ability requires some responsibility and an aura not meant to ALWAYS be on, but enabled in certain situations. Well that's a significant change to the idea of auras being a passive bonus with a slight cost.
Short/Midterm boosts in the game are charges. |
