The main thing I'd want is the option to purchase a set UI theme.

For example;

Dark Compact

Azure Simplistic

Azure Compact

Dark Simplistic

(Not the best examples, but it gets the idea through)

The other option (Which would be easier to implement) would be weapon sound effects.

And marble plz!
I want a Platypus pet! :-D

Or a Wombat. A Wombat wearing plate armour.

My idea for a microtransaction is "the trail"

Since almost everyone in the game is using quicksilver flasks, I thought why not add some kind of trail that appears behind the character when he uses a quicksilver flask. There is no visual feedback when you are running anyway, so why not have some kind of trail.

These trails could be offered in different colors (red, blue, yellow...), so everyone can purchase and use his favourite one. And a special premium one which is --> "the nyan cat trail effect"! =)

Spoiler

Here is a short video where a guy has such trails while making his moves. This is kinda what I am thinking of. Watch from 0:30

from 0.10.0 patch notes: "Fixed a bug where you could add Piety to your friends list." xD

My Microtransaction idea: Thriller dance animation for raise zombies.

LOL
A little Necromancer Pet, which will summon a zombie or a skeleton(rhoa) every few minutes!!
If GGG is willing to make UI microtransactions,
I'd absolutely love to see new globe art; different colored/animated health/mana globes and the metal persons (could be different things) around them.

Could be themed, like necromantic/vampiric/lavender etc. you guys have effects kinda done already. So many possible combinations and more to come. Necromantic liquid could have greenish color with bubbling skulls, necromancer shaped metal pieces on top of globes (instead of women).

Vampiric liquid could be dark red with those bats flying around, and the metal could represent dracula or similar. :p
Lavender and other cheaper effects (without extra animation) would recolor liquid only.

If GGG doesn't want to do UI microtransactions,
here is my suggestion for in-game items:

The problem:
Sometimes you're thrilled when you buy/find a new piece of gear, until you wear it, and notice that it makes you look ridiculous with rest of your gear. It's a sad, sad moment.

The solution:
Simple and easy-to-create item modification transaction. When used on any wearable item, new tab pops up which contains all non-unique arts from each tier of same item or maybe even same itemtype eg. vaal regalia over glorious plate.
You could choose the one you like most and now the item you chose appears with picked art. New modification options could be implemented later (endless combinations) and people might want to buy multiple pieces of this MTA allowing very personal outcome, but lets keep it simple for now. :)

Killing Spree / Berserking / Rampage visual & sound effects pack

When player kills many of mobs in short amount of time, he gains some visual effect.
The bigger number of mobs were killed - the more distinctive/flashier/brighter effect will be.
If player stopped killing mobs - effect slowly dissolves.

Those effects can be:
* Glowing aura (can be of custom color)
adds +1% to light radius with each killed mob
when killing streak is over, light radius slowly reduces to normal
* Swirling energy thingies (similar to those surrounding dark archon unit from Starcraft)
adds 1 energy thingies per 5 killed mobs
when killing streak is over, energy thigies fly away one by one
* Lightning aura - random lightnings strike from your character into different game objects (mobs, barrels, stones, trees, seagulls)
radius increases per each mob killed until streak is over, then radius becomes 0.

While in party, those effects will scale proportional to your dealt damage.
The more damage you do - the more distinguishing you will be from other party memebers.

Also, when multikill happens, the character should be saying something cool :)

My Idea is very easy to implement since it is already in-game,

basically i would love to be able to always have my character look like hes on fire.. just like when you are burning in-game... it looks fcking awesome.. you could also have all the other status ailments available too... of course variations of the colours and details should be available...

but honestly.. dont put too much emphasis on the other status ailments XD

i just want the burning effect :D cause it makes my character look like ghostrider XD only better.

Edit: alternatively you can just add this burning effect to the "righteous fire" skill (as a microtransaction)

I have a few micro-transaction ideas:
1. Shield Charge and Whirling Blades shooting star (comet) cosmetic effect.
Using this effect will cause shield charge graphics to change such that the character looks like a blue ball of fire as he charges into the enemy with his shield.

2. Ground Slam road block spikes cosmetic effect.
In the scene when you first go along the path at prisoner's gate, piety blocks the way forward with a wall of spikes coming from the ground. This cosmetic effect would change the ground slam skill to make those spikes (only much smaller) along the ground that usually has glowing cracks. They would be visible for a short time and then recede into the ground from which they came.

3. Molten Shell party time cosmetic effect.
This is a more silly effect much like dancing, this will change the molten shell effect to have swirling party streamers and glitter emitting around the character. Once the molten shell is detonated, a kazoo sound effect is made and the glitter and streamers explode outwards from the character.

4. Fire Trap TNT cosmetic effect.
Rather than the default trap graphic, this one makes the trap look like a red stick of dynamite with a burning fuse. When a monster approaches the dynamite, the fuse stops burning and an explosion occurs.

5. Purple Poison Arrow cosmetic effect.
This will change the default green clouds and collision effect to purple. I thought of this because usually in the batman comics I read as a child the poison smoke was purple. It's a pretty simple change but it could appeal to people like me. Just like the blue cyclone effect.

6. Anarchy Exile Cosmetic Effects Packs.
A lot of the exiles in Anarchy have multiple cosmetic effects, this gave me the idea that perhaps they could be sold as packs rather than individually.
For instance, the Eoin Greyfur Exile cosmetic effect pack includes:
Albino Kiwi
Arctic Footprints
Ice Crown
Ivory Weapon Effect
Available a premium (because albino kiwi and arctic footprints are not available otherwise) and for a limited time.

7. Skeletal Rhoa Pet
Same model as the skeletal Rhoas in the fetid pool, smaller so that players will not be confused and think it's an enemy.

These are all ideas I imagined myself as I've been playing so I hope everyone enjoys them and I've explained them well enough.
Thanks,
Doobs

1. Pack Mule - cosmetic pet and at the same time an account enhancement which will add additional tabs to your character's inventory. Do not need to have the pack mule out to get the bonus. If you die, anything in your additional Pack Mule tabs get dropped.

2. Pack Mule Packs - Once you get your pack mule you can upgrade them to 3-4 tabs (max).

3. Fido - cosmetic pet that will automatically pick up loot assigned only to you. Will not work in FFA modes, only in short/long term allocation modes (only will pick up items assigned to you during the time they are only assigned to you - if the item goes public, FIDO will not pick it up). Additionally, the loot must be within a certain range in order for Fido to pick it up (maybe limited to on the screen). Loot picked up by Fido will stay in Fido's own inventory tab. If you die, all the items in Fido's stash get dropped (buyer beware)

4. Fido Fetch - upgrade to Fido to send him back to town to put items in his inventory into your stash. 2-5 minute cooldown. (Upgraded versions of fetch will reduce the cooldown and increase Fido's carrying capacity - FIDOs capacity can not be greater than the character's capacity).

5. Loot Gobin - portable merchant. Will appear in your current location and allow you to sell your items to the merchant - loot goblin exchange rate would be much lower than going to the town. 5 minute cooldown. (Upgraded versions will reduce his cooldown and upgrade his selling ratio MAX would be 100% value at merchant). Can only be summoned outside of town. Monsters can attack and kill the goblin (he would have very low HP). Additionally, once the loot goblin window was closed, he would disappear - you could not use the goblin to sell things from the ground, just your main inventory stashes. He would have as many tabs as you had pack mule tabs.

6. Loot Goblin Book of Knowledge - Upgrades the loot goblin to automatically identify any unidentified items you have in your inventory. Each level of the loot goblin will increase the number of items he can identify on a single trip. (Level 1 = 1 item.... Level Max all items)

7. Loot Goblin Scavenge - Upgrades the loot goblin to automatically pick up any items on the ground and sell them. Must be the only person in the zone for this to work, and all the monsters in the zone have been killed (use /remaining before summoning and be sure to summon where lots of items are on your screen). Levels of Loot Goblin Scavenge will increase the radius of their pickup. Max level would be zone wide. Additionally using a loot goblin scavenge skill would consume a loot goblin charge.

8. Loot Goblin Charges - Available in game for 1 exalt or via the microtransaction page. 10GGG for one charge, 100GG for 10 charges, 200GG for a 24hour loot goblin pass - allowing unlimited summoning of the loot goblin for 24 hours.

9. Merchant Tags - Ability to pre-tag items in your inventory for sale to a merchant to allow for single click selling at the merchant. Click the merchant tag button and click on an item you wish to tag for sale (little $ appears in the corner of a tagged item). At the merchant click the sell button to sell all tagged items.

10. Loot Mule Merchant Tabs - Upgrade to Merchant tag which will allow you to set specific tags in your inventory to sell.

11. Bank Tags - Ability to sell items from your bank to the merchant.

Would this be gamebreaking?
1) The loot goblin would be killable and still require time for you to drag and drop things over to the merchant window to sell.
2) Loot goblin charges would be extremely expensive, and the return from picking up and selling all items in a zone would be less than the actual cost of the charges. Could be further limited to only give ident scrolls, transmutes, and/or armorer scraps.
3) Sell tags - It would be a time saver for users instead of having to click through from stash to merchant and back.
