[Server : Client interactions] - Location Modifying spells and more

While playing PoE I've become quite frustrated with my Shadow. He is a dual claw life-on-hit based assassin who is very easily taken down by burst damage, and the servers aren't helping. I think the key problem comes from my choice of abilities (More specifically: Flicker Strike[With Blood Rage] and Whirling Blades)

Before I did anything else, I left my latency UI up and running while I played, my latency remained 60-80 the entire time, and I still experienced a large amount of rubber banding. This is a serious issue for my character and has always happened when using the skills mentioned above.

Another common issue is the incorrect location of an enemy, which is also quite serious because if let's say, you are holding down a melee ability, you will follow the unit, if the unit's location is incorrect on your client, you will walk to incorrect location, however the server knows where the unit really is, so the server is actually walking you towards the correct location, which causes you to "teleport" with the unit to it's correct location.

I'm currently running the following for my PC:
OS: 64-bit Windows 8 Release Preview Build 8400
CPU: Quad-core Intel @2.50GHz Q9300
Ram: 8GB
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460

My connection is wired and I reside very close to Ottawa Ontario.

We do have plans to improve Sync in future, but Flicker Strike is definitely the worst victim. The easiest way to get out of sync is to run through a group of monsters, so if possible try and run round rather than through groups, or use Blade Flurry to pass through if you have it. Other than that, there isn't much I can suggest!

Thanks you very much -- It's good to know that the issues are being addressed or at least acknowledge for the time being.

Definitely looking forward to these sync fixes -- Back to the Aura-mancer for now :D
