Nameplates / Floating healthbars / Scrolling Damage

Total agree on the nameplates. As a new player, I just started playing yesterday and my first impression on this was that it can be extremely difficult to see what/how many mobs are left alive. I ran with my son a few times and between our zombies and the mobs, It was next to impossible to see any remaining mobs. Somebody above said they attempted to put name plates in making it near unplayable, and to that I say, then they were poorly designed. An option to turn them off and on would be a great "value add" for this game.


***EDIT*** - since this is going to be a micro transaction driven game, even if you put this and other similar "customizations" as a one time purchasable option, that may be sufficient. I truly believe many people would rather pay for being able to modify the UI to their liking over buying useless things like NC pets. Just a thought.

More text, are you kidding me? It's already bad enough at times with loot in maps.

Then again, one can toggle loot and only look at it after combat. (although this might not always be desirable due to the game's loot system, but that's not what this is about)

It is what happens when you start doing end-game maps. Try going into a ~60+ quantity map with 5 or 6 people with decent gear. You'll get piles as large as that easily, ahtough you'd need quite extreme quality gear on all party members for most of those items to not be white.
Scrolling combat text and enemy/friendly nameplates and health bars would be a super amazing feature to add as an option for this game. It would be even better if it helped distinguish normal, blue and gold enemies. Also a bar over our character with health, mana, and energy shield would be super helpful too.
