Righteous Fire + Ignite Duration

Righteous fire reads:
Ignites you with magical fire that rapidly burns you and nearby enemies.

Ignite Duration Passive Reads:
30% increased ignite duration on enemies.


Am I correct in assuming that this passive would be a direct 30% longer burn eg 30% more damage to enemies? I guess my question here is how does it actually apply. Will this cause an enemy to actually ignite 30% longer than me? EG if the effect ends on me after 10 seconds will they continue to burn for 3 (total 13 seconds)?

Righteous Fire doesn't Ignite enemies. It applies burning damage without igniting. Same as Searing Bond, Fire Trap DOT and EP.
