Trying to craft max item rarity/quant amulet

ilvl 79 with max prefix rarity. Should I eternal it and try roll for the second, or just save the currency and try roll both with max with alts?

DO YOU have 1000s of alterations?
If not, dont bother "gambling" The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

I think its called this will be the greatest amulet of all time. Might try messaging him to ask him how many alts he used to get a rarity AND quantity roll using alts I think it was over 9000 The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. don't know if this is relevant to amulets but rolled dragon's and amassment prefix and suffix before. First one took around 400 alts and second time took around 550. Unfortunately regal and exalting was a crapshoot and ended up with really dumb mods. This was before eternal orbs were introduced. Don't eternal, it is better and cheaper to rely on alteration RNG.
