TOP 10 most annoying things in Path of Exile
|
1. Desynchronization.
Teleporting mobs, invisible mobs, invincible mobs, and I don't even use a Flicker Strike or a Phase Run. 2. Deaths on loading screen. 3. Mobs with Flicker Strike or Cold Snap. 4. Necromants. Give them a cooldown or something. 5. SONIC SNAKES 6. There is no easy way to buy more than one orb from a vendor. If I want to buy 10 alteration orbs, I have to buy 1 alteration orb, close the vendor screen, open the vendor screen again, and then do this 9 more times. Really? 7. No easy way to move items from inventory to stash/from stash to inventory. Again, really? Shift+click or just right click would be nice. 8. Maps with Blood Magic. 9. Maps with Temporal Chains. 10. Maps with no hp and mana regen/slower regen. WHY? I love this game bla bla bla please fix this. Last edited by Wittgenstein#0994 on Aug 3, 2012, 8:26:57 AM

" Yeah true. " Haven't seen this one. But if it really happens, a must fix! " Deal with it. Best anti-Ranged mobs atm. Also there is a cooldown already!
4. Necromants. Give them a cooldown or something.
Maybe. I agree they are annoying as hell. I think just give them less life so you can kill them faster would be a better idea. Since you always go for them. Or we need some more skills that let us allow to pass by mobs so we can mele them. That's the main problem I see. Sometimes there are just way to many undead in my way and if i wanna beat the crap outta that necro, I can't get to him without fighting the other mobs who are blocking the way. Diablo 2 had a good solution for that. "cannot be revived" or what it was called. was a mod on equipment. " we just need a bit more chaos resistance items. " True, though I don't do that very often. Maybe it's intentional. " Shiftclick doesn't work because it's unstack. and right click doesn't work because it's using currency items. They think about this already. Maybe doubleclicking but I guess it will come soon. " Because deal with it. If you don't wanna play those, reroll/sell. |

I highly agree with the vendor buying issue. Also with having to drag and drop items instead of a right click feature.

1. I'm sure they're working on this, why wouldn't they be? They don't want desync to happen..
2. See answer 1. 3. I agree about cold snap actually. It's really really harsh if you don't have a flask to dispel frozen, because you get chain frozen easily. blahblah get a dispel flask etc i dunno I don't like cold snap on mobs ^_^ 4. I don't think they need a cooldown. Necromancers *cough* are kind of an icon of the early game. A tough mob that players fear, and talk about in chat. It gives an appropriate sense of the challenge that awaits them. This game is not your friend and it wants you dead. The rest: agree with dude about chaos resist, they're working on the other stuff, most other common things that you would nitpick about being missing are being worked on, and just reroll the maps. EDIT: I know my stance on necros doesn't work with my stance on cold snap, but cold snap is kind of a dick move. " 'Deal with it' is a sucky response. It doesn't address anything. My guess is you're not up to merciless yet, otherwise you would not say cold damage mobs are fine. ...unless getting RNG stunlocked from 100%HP until death (even though you're spamming thawing potions the entire time) is your idea of challenging. Yes desync sucks atm.
Deaths on loading screen only happen if you decide to change zone while not being safe. That may be annoying if you think you would be safe. It happens ONCE, after first death you know this and it is not annoying any more, it s just silly to let it happen again. (I found out in hc at level 60 btw.) I don't think flicker strike mobs are annoying, they are quite hard sometimes. Coldsnap is hard at lower difficulties, I don't think it is annoying. I like necromancers, my favourite enemies. They can be annoying for some people, I guess. I personally consider a bit harder fights fun. I don't know what snakes are you referring to. Chaos spitters are hard but not annoying. The construct snakes are annoying, because they move ultra fast and the challenge of fighting them is in clicking their ultra small hitbox. Then you use aoe on a single snake and it feels silly. Orbs at vendor - I agree. Moving items from inventory to stash isn't annoying for me but I think they will add some way to do it automatically like they did with vendors. I've never tried temporal chains map but I don't see why would you consider blood magic map annoying. Sure, it may not fit everyone, especially CI chars, but for my character which is NOT a blood magic user are maps with BM actually cool and I love doing them. Maps with slower regen. provide some challenge, but why would anyone call them annoying? No, not annoying at all. ✠ ✠

I agree with most of them, especially with vendor thing. Cus there are some orb's i buy from vendors, its quite annoying to buy larger amounts, even 3+. And if I want to sell my orbs or skills to vendor, they give scroll fragment :S I hope there will be more developed vendor system for scrolls, orbs and skills.
It was my fault that i didn't knew that what blood magic does but theres several stats and skills that i haven't learned and i won't play with all characters but i accidentaly opened blood magic map with witch and called ppls in global but still i got screwed... For new players too less warnings or you need to learn things hard way sometimes :D Sometimes tutorials are useful too :) I learend a lot while looking videos how people play and learned a lot about the skills and so from there. |

" I don't have this issue, and I have several characters in merciless. I feel these mobs are some of the most fun in the game to encounter. Flickers provide a challenge for my ranged characters, but my melee/tank characters laugh as they teleport into their big weapons and go boom. The elementals sometimes send my melee characters running with their tail between their legs, but my ranged characters usually outrange them, so they can't do much of anything. 'Cept die. It's a decent balance in my opinion. Actually the sunken shipwreck is my favorite area in the game. :) "That's how you die properly, Sailor Boy.."
