How do you pronounce, "Merveil"?

The question is simple. How do you pronounce "Merveil"? And how it should be pronounced?

1. mer-veil. 'Mer' like in 'herp', 'derp', 'work'?
2. 'Mer' like in "Erik", "Erika"?

or

3. French like 'Mer-Vey' with accent on the last part of the word and without the last 'L'?

Personally I think the last one is the most interesting one :)

Ok let's sound this one out together.

Mer(mur) as in "herp derp"

Veil(vay - yuhl) as in "veil"

K, I think we got this under control. ;)

Mer as in mermaid. Veil as in veil, the synonym for cover.

I think this is correct, but I pronounce it merveil, just like it's spelled.
I just call her Melvin.
