Orra Greengate

I know rogue exiles are supposed to be hard, but all of the ones I've encountered up until now have had SOME sort of counterplay. You move out of the way of the cyclone guy, you kite the summoner away from corpses, etc.

For those who don't know, Orra Greengate is apparently a ranger who likes to use GMP frenzy and RoA (one or both have a cold damage component, because I was getting frozen/chilled, and there were no other mobs around). Basically, her damage is extremely high, ranged, and nigh on unavoidable. Rogue exiles really ARE inspired by players apparently, b/c she is more than happy to offscreen ME with RoA if I try to run lol. Combine that with the fact she stuns and freezes, and getting hit even once means you are probably on the fasttrack to death.

So, no problem, right? It may take forever, but this seems like the perfect boss to use hit-and-run tactics on!

Except she either has life on hit or life leech, b/c every time you do a sliver of damage, it's healed right back up.

Not trying to complain, but any one have ANY strats for her? This is in merciless btw, I assume she is easier in lower difficulties, but that's not what I am looking for. I've come across her twice so far and ended up just abandoning that instance after a couple deaths and half an hour wasted each time. Once I am into maps, I would hate to have to abandon one because she happened to be in a vital chokepoint, so if there is a way to deal with her, I would like to know.

I find abandoning the map is the best option for my squishy CI caster.

Suggestion: Keep Sin Trek in your stash and portal out to equip them when you come across her? It's not ideal but it will stop the leech.

Another option would be to keep temporal chains on her so that you can avoid her attacks, preventing the leech.

Sin trek boots. Enfeeble, since this lowers accuracy. Leap slam -> heavy hit, and go for stun.

I've found sitting behind an object and summon skeleton totoming her to work.

Even if she can't leech from me, she can still leech from them.

To the guy who said skele totem, that was one of the techniques I tried to use, with max level summon skeles for my level. She just leeched back all damage to full :(

I was using enfeeble on all attempts as well, forgot to mention that.

At least it sounds like SOME builds can kill her, which is okay I guess. I am sure some of the exiles I have killed easily are hard for other builds to do. Sucks that it sounds like she is out of reach of my build unless I way overgear the area though.

I came across said Exile with my physical cleavist. She was definitely not easy at all, but I did not seem to notice her leeching my life? And I have no passive or gear to prevent that either. I'm not sure about frenzy but her RoA definitely has some cold damage as I was frozen every time it hit me.

To defeat her I basically would throw fire traps, put up searing bond and leap slam -> dual strike -> leap slam away -> repeat. It took me a few minutes to kill her and her damage was massive, almost one shotted me several times. I would imagine for the OP's build this encounter would be much more difficult. Only thing I can say is when you find her create a public party and tag team her.

I did okay using a quality enfeeble, and skeles with blind and added chaos damage. Didn't take too long actually. Quality enfeeble stacks really well with blind.

Came across her in a Crypt map today while mapping with a buddy playing physical "blender" cleave. He basically facetanked her while I (playing ele wander) crit the f*** out of her. She gets easier with more gear, but you just have to keep bursty damage on her, not consistent low damage.

The only truly insane exile is Igna Phoenix (low life RF)
She hits like a truck, 78% fire res and 2.4k life, I got oneshot by all 3 Fireballs to the face. :/

I haven't had a chance to play Anarchy yet but all the reports of these ridiculous exiles are getting me excited.
