Character disappeared from account!

hello exlie team,
After playing the beta this weekend I decided to buy into the closed beta just to find out that my character was deleted somehow. On login to the website I had to click on the account verification link first (wasn't needed to play the game), then I purchased the package and activated the beta access by entering the key. After that I logged into the game and my character from last weekend was gone, also my stash is empty. My account name is "Humphrey33" and my characters name is "esMausi". Appreciate your help martin from austria |

hmm its probably not it but...
are you sure you are checking the right league in the character select window for your character? |

I don't think so, his character also doesn't show up on the website any more, he's just gone. (I'm a friend of Martin and already tried everything I could think of to get the character back)
The only thing he did differently was that he verified his account (email link) after playing the stress test weekend and not before like me. So maybe there is a bug existing somewhere that resets the account when it is verified. Just a guess... | |

Adding in, I also have been on the forums, and played 2 stress test weekends so far. when I log in, I still have the "account needs to be verified" posted, though I am pretty sure I have done so.
Am opted in to get news letters, and have recived one. |

Are you sure it's the same account you used when you played in the stress test? Like 100% positive absolutely positively sure for sure?

I'll see if we can have a look at our logs, and find out what happened here!
Edit: It looks like you had two accounts signed up under the same email address. When you verified one, it 'orphaned' the other one, which had your character on it. Hello Rory, or any other support team members,
I have this account "Katniss_Everdeen" that has been verified, and I can log in on this site, but now that I'm trying to log into the game (it allows me to log in, but..), it won't list that character in the account window. I tried to create a new character with this same name "Katniss_Everdeen", but it says there is an existing character with that name (mine of course). The problem might have stemmed from the fact that the account was first created with a typo in my email address: beautfulchildren@... (mistake) beautifulchildren@... (correct one with the missing "i" in "beautiful". I can't remember if I verified the account in the mistaken email (after I created an email account with that mistaken spelling just to receive it), but before that (months ago) I had also tried to change my email address to the correct email, but it didn't allow me. I guess I had to verify it in the mistake email address first. Thanks. P.S. I just created "Primrose_Everdeen", but would love to have "Katniss_Everdeen" also.
