Blue Outline for Friends in Town // A Trade Button Under Party Member Avatars in Town Only

This Thread's merit has been updated based on feedback. Some earlier comments may be irrelevant.

==============================

Fixed Blue Outline around Friends in Town /
Option to Turn ON/OFF This Feature:

Without having to click on or hover over Friends in-game, make a fixed Blue Outline around Friends (only when in town) so it's easier to find & Trade with them.

However, if players happen to hover over or click on their Friend(s) anyway, the Blue Outline would not be overwritten with the current Green Outline (for regular players only.) Instead, the Blue Outline around Friends would become more illuminated indicating a hover-over or click with the Cursor.

(The above is optional for a polished detail.)

Otherwise, if you or your Friend(s) are not in town, these Blue Outlines go away when zoning out of town or entering Portals to battleground areas.

Trade Button Under Party Member Avatars When in Town Only:

To fix the vaguely known Keyboard Tip (among others not mentioned here) to do a right-click on Party Member Avatars to Trade them in-game, add a Trade Button at the very bottom of Avatars that only shows up when in town.

When you and Party Members enter battleground areas, this Button would no longer show up.

Bonus Idea: Add Colored DOTS in Towns for NPCs & Players /
Option to Turn ON/OFF This Feature:

Green Dots for regular players when in town.

Blue Dots for Players you're partied with and Friends if they're in town.

Dark Orange Dots for NPCs in all towns.

What do you guys think about this?

It would be really nice to recognize party members.
Good idea.

All players already have a over-head health bar(?) showing names and levels.
They can make it -optionally- always visible for party members.

No. Showing Health Bars is only for Allies like Summoned Creatures. I know, it sounds confusing, but I in PoE's terms there is a small differentiation between Allies and Party Members.

Even if Health Bars did show above player heads, it doesn't fix the issue. Health Bars are also not made to work in towns. They only work in explorable / battleground areas.

Maybe health bar isn't the right term.
You see players name, level etc. when you hover your mouse on them, in towns or in outside.

Oh, ok. Yeah, the hovering over players idea to see their names, etc. would be great too and makes sense. However, that idea doesn't give instant gratification like adding fixed Blue Outlines (without having to click them) on Party Members & Friends does.

It would be best for the two ideas to be mixed together.

You don't need any such feature for party members if you are in the same town instance.

If a party member is in your town instance, their name will appear in an box at the top left portion of your screen.

This idea would be better suited for friends who you currently aren't in a party with.

I never thought about doing a right-click on people's Avatars. When I first started playing PoE, asking how to Trade players, everyone suggested the same to physically right-click a player when you're actually near them (I assumed how it worked anyway.)

That said, you are right, and as a result, I updated my Thread for better suggestions.

Thank You very much for the support, but I do wish more feedback would be given.

Even a +1 is good enough, or if people disagree, a simple "No" is fine too.

GGG can't really go wrong with this given that it would be optional though.
