Class Differences? Game Differences?

Whats to be confused about.
Each "class" starts at a different spot on the skilldrasil.
Look at the skilldrasil. Makes sense to me?

The important distinction is where a class starts on the passive tree. The closeness of skills to classes makes it easier for that class to reach, and defines class identity.

For example, the Marauder is close to a lot of strength and melee passives, so it requires less skill points to gain an advantage in these areas. The magic and evasion passives are further away, so getting to them is more of an investment. Therefore it's more likely for a Marauder to specialise in axes and health than bows and magic. Of course, nothing is stopping you from trying, and part of the fun of games like this is trying unorthodox builds, like a dual wand-wielding Marauder.

Its like the difference between innate talent and hard work. You can be a great swimmer two ways. One be innately talented or less talented but put lots of work into it.

A witch has innate talent for magic but she can use bows but she would have to work harder for it.
I just joined, but i am really excited about the game! I know i sound noobish, but i like the ideas and community a lot!
This game really sounds way better than d3! Looking forward to trying the game.
I think I like this game? I didn't expect to but how they did classes is certainly why I like it
