PoE's Armor Graphics
So I recently became a supporter a few days ago in anticipation of trying out PoE. Although the combat is pretty smooth and character customization is extremely extensive, the armor aesthetics are quite lacking. I understand the possible story reason for why this might happen, that being the player character is exiled to an island or a far off land and they have to make due with what they find. Despite this, the armor sets on the characters look very underwhelming. Even the gear at the higher levels looks similar to the lower level gear and in general looks like it's a bunch of pieces of wood/metal etc. thrown together. Are there any plans to address this sort of thing? Anything that was said by Chris Wilson on Kripparrian's stream maybe?

Nice. There are some realy good looking armors, but I wonder why all strength armors look so blah. Love str/int, and dex armors.

One reason is that ATM they are devoting resources to getting the game-play top notch.
Also I would prefer any cosmetic upgrades to armor styles to be in the shop. It doesn't affect how powerful you are and would add something to the shop that people would want to spend real monies on. :) “I look only to the good qualities of men. Putting cosmetic changes into the microtransaction shop would be a good idea. But there should still be that sense of progression for players as they level up and get better gear. My duelist is level 27 and the armor he's getting looks pretty much the same as the armor he got when he was starting out, which was the plate of metal on the front and (later on) a metal plate on the back.

I think it has a lot to do with the steep angle of the zoomed-out view, which limits you from seeing a good portion of your armor. The lower angle of the zoomed-in view is much better, as you get a better view of your character's full profile. They could spend a lot of resources on making intricate armor textures, but most of that would be wasted if all your see is the top of your helm & shoulders.

Not enough weapon and armor models .
4 or 5 different armor models and later amors are just reused . |

I think everything is ok with the outfits but camera position makes it hard to notice the details, guess what we are looking for is to look cool from up where camera is set:)
