Locating party members is difficult

I think the Diablo3's way is good , direct get to party members in town.

I think this would change the whole game if this changed.
The way they have it is great, just need to find a way to show party members easier while in the battlefield. Possibly a pointer or even being able to move the "tab" map .

The problem with clicking on a party member and teleporting to them right away would eliminate town portal scrolls almost altogether and I like that about this game. It feels must needed to carry those around as well as identify scrolls. Something about that just keeps the Diablo 2 feel and even though it may be "tedious" it is still fun.
Add a beacon to the map and it's sorted.
agree that can be hard to find people.

I don't like any of the teleport ideas... just use a town scroll in those cases.

but yes, some greater range indication as to which direction party members are in would be very helpful.
I personally like the Diablo 3 style, in which you just click on a banner and teleport to the player. At the moment, it's too hard to locate your party members. At least implement an arrow which points to the direction they are. Or if you join a group, let there be more portals available, so you dont have to run 2-3 screens to get to your team mates.
Names on the map, and arrows pointing towards their direction are good ideas. D3's flag system is good for quickly getting into thick of the action, but may not work well with leagues as cut-throat or hardcore.
There wasn´t many good points about Diablo 3, but the party management was nice.

Teleporting to the partymembers would be nice.

Could be like this:

The partymembers leave an Aura Of Friendship (well, name is able to be edited.) :D in town. By clicking that aura, you will get teleported to the partymember.

Wouldn´t be a big problem in Hardcore aswell, just asking if the area is safe shall do it.

If the partymembers are out of range an arrow on the map will show where they are.

In my 1 hour of partymember I spend may 50 minutes with finding out where are my members and being 10 minutes frustratet cause if I found them, they would just porting back and the search was beginning again.
That was many town portals. :<
I love to use the edit button. :P

The current party system is the only thing i do not like about PoE since I started to play it.
It is really hard to find each other and play with the members of your party! I like thev way how it works in Torchlight 2: You can teleport yourself to you party members at any time if they are not fighting against a boss. This works very good in my opinion.

I just started playing and I found it also very difficult locating party members, especially since i do not know the maps, yet.
Please implement something that allows one to find the party members quickly.
We got portals for this but still some times asking for a portal and even not getting one can be annoying.
Glad I looked for it because I was about to post this!

Okay there's the Tab Map and it's bigger than the Minimap, but sometimes it's not enough!

We need at least a directional arrow on the Minimap to know where to head or to look for them...

Hawk
