Joined a public party for merciless dominus last night, gpus were destroyed :P
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNh3pIMNsgg Build is still working well, I tested with chaos golems and Evangelists, single target dps was similar, but clearspeed was much slower. I just made it to maps last night so I'll try the blade vortex mobs out tonight. 6L'd Vis Mortis too :D Edit: I switched over to chaos golems and blade vortex spectres, seems to be really strong. I'm going to stick with it for awhile because it seemed like the fire spectres/golems were causing prety bad ping spikes. With the new setup I'm using: Spectre - Chaos Golem - Inc. AoE - Void Manip - Minion Dmg. - Added Chaos. I also swapped flesh offering for spirit offering, and swapped out anger for hatred (eventually Envy if blessings of chayula are ever affordable). Fire spectres/flame golem has a lot of projectiles flying around. Thanks for trying chaos + Vortex spectres I had a feeling that combo would work just didn't get around to trying it yet.

Do you have any idea what rarity tier umbilicus immortalised was? I might try chancing one in a perandus map if it wasn't too rare.

Not sure about the rarity but they were very common last league b/c perandus was on a cheaper zana map mod tier. I think it took 2 weeks in before they started to appear on poe.trade.

" once again, thanks for the reply. Another quick update on my progress with the physical stuff. Got my hands on a blessing of chayula: With Envy aura, Slashed Miscreations, and Chaos Golems, I think the optimal links are - Spectre - Chaos Golem - Minion Damage - Inc. AoE - Void Manipulation - Controlled Destruction I tested Controlled Destruction vs. Added Chaos, and controlled destruction had better single target DPS (Tested by recording at 60FPS Merc. Dominus last phase kill and counting time from first hit to death. It was 3.1 seconds with a lvl 17 added chaos, and 2.7 seconds with a level 8 controlled destruction). Also, I had to start using Valyrium because I was constantly getting stunned out of my Convocations even with Practical Application (I like to whirling blades into big packs and cast convocation). I feel like the chaos golems are pretty inferior when compared to flame golems, so the next thing I try will probably be to use a combination of flame golems / slashed miscreation and see if the clearspeed / single target dps is better than with chaos golems even without optimal links for the flame golems (no GMP etc.) Last edited by chup_ on Dec 9, 2016, 5:25:16 PM

looks like the golem jewel set is going to be a bit difficult to obtain since the primordial might one appears to be used by non-summoner builds just for the damage boost. I thought it was going to be a common drop like all the other skill based jewels.
Severed in sleep should drop pretty fast once the bulk of people get into cruel/merc since its summoner only and has competition from other weapons, so supply >>>> demand and that gaps just going to widen. Last edited by Asmosis on Dec 9, 2016, 5:23:55 PM

Yeah no problem. Ask away. I suspect its bc flame golem got a massive 140% buff. As oppose to the other golem's 70% and flame golem always had good damage before this patch. @Asmosis What? People are using CwDT + max rolled Might Jewel just to get 30% increased damage for 8s? Wouldn't a rare jewel not only be cheaper but way more damage? @delgar89 Most likely vulnerability + tempchains. " " What @mattc3303 said. I did try stone golems but I I didn't like them, If there was a strong physical melee spectre that I could pair with it and get good support gem synergy I would, but it being attack based it's tough to make it work well with the spectres @mattc3303 has suggested. |
