You only get scrolls of wisdom once.

It's not a major problem.But it will be easy for botters.The rest of the game it's pretty hard to bot,the maps are kind of randomed.But it's very easy to create a bot that just beats that first mini-boss at the beggining,put the scrolls in the stash,then repeat.

That's right. I finished Normal during the Weekend and got as many as 67 SoW and 29 Portal Scrolls. There's just too many of them and, besides that, they do not improve your character in any way. So if they even gave us an infinite stack of these (similar to D3) it wouldn't break the game.

It is a more difficult problem to prevent farming very easy content for, say, orbs of alteration as they can improve your items a lot if you got a huge stack of them and thus they retain their value even if they occur very frequently.

(E.g. you could repeat some Normal areas and create a new character if the old one gets a malus to drop rates)
