Screen size how big is to big
So I thought about getting a 27in monitor. Anyone else try to play on one or use one. Just seems like it would be to big to sit in front of in my mind. Bigger tv was always better but haven't actually had the chance to try anything over 23in monitor sitting on the desk. And been playing on 17in asus laptop for while now.

I have two 27" monitors hooked up to my computer. It is amazing.

I've had a Dell U3011 for quite a while.. it's great. I'd prefer a somewhat smaller but higher resolution for the real estate though (like the MBP Retina).
I've also had a 55" TV on my desk.. that was just a bit excessive but it worked. /shrug And before I moved into a smaller place a year ago, I played games on a 120" projector screen (1920x1080) from about 11'. Miss that despite the sad resolution. :( I'd worry more about the resolution and performance than the size of a monitor but you'll be fine with (and adapt to) anything these days. |

Depends on the kind of gamer you are.
If you want to go above 24 inches, you should be buying above 1080p. If you want smoother gameplay, grab the 144Hz Asus 24in 1080p monitor If you want multi-monitor, multiple 24 inch displays is good for triple 1080p if you have a graphics card that can push that much power. |
