Kripparrian is playing poe!!!!
" Is it unnecessary? He has an opinion; who are you to say that it's uninformed? Why do you even care what he says about some "D3 Celebrity"? |

" It being unnecessary isn't up to debate. It's uninformed and only serves to create conflict in the community. Why do I care? Here's a thought. Chris believes he's noteworthy enough to drop in with him and talk him through the game. He believes that giving a few thousand viewers an informed viewpoint about the game they're watching is worth his time. It's contributed to a couple hundred extra signups, and a few of those people almost certainly went on to pre-purchase the game. That's good, for GGG and for the community. I don't "idolize" the man, but I'll give respect where respect's due. He knows his stuff, and if the developers of the game deem his opinion worthy of their consideration, then so be it. I watched a fair portion of the stream, and it was good to hear the Q&A with a developer as the game was being played. I think it was beneficial to the community as well as the project's success.

I to watched a good portion of his stream ( 9 hours is a bit to long) and hes did had an honest view upon things
Where as he touched upon the combat feeling sluggish, and tbh it does, we all know that. But its being worked on and his statement about it having Complex and intresting game mechanics, wich is also very apparent. Some statements i did not agree to but hey, oppinions differ, no biggie All in all, it brought Poe to a bigger audience Cant see the problem in that.... it can only benefit Poe If you wish for a key? pray to the allmighty Keysus. If you want a speedy Blessing? Donate to the church of Keysus and ye shall receive a Blessing.
*Disclaimer- This is now a vintage saying* |

" Let's be honest here. He's one of those celebrities that you like to make fun of, he's more the Paris Hilton rather than the Tom Cruise, he's more one of the Kardashian sisters rather than the Vivian Leigh or Clark Gable. He's the "celebrity" that everybody laughs at and more people on the D3 forums laugh at him than have any respect for him at all. He's got a whole lot of 12 and 13 year olds that hang on to his word in hopes that they'll get invited into the game with him to make easy phat l33t. Personally, I think one of his "fans" (if you can call them that) put it best when they wrote... "Yo Krip, I wish you'd go back to the old format, you were must more funny when you were high as a kite". Yes, it's usually pretty funny to watch somebody that is high or drunk when they can't do anything to physically hurt others and only make themselves look like asshats. If he can actually bring more people to PoE, then that's great... But I have a hard time believing that the type of person he's going to bring is a person that I'd actually want to play the game with. Last edited by CityBuilder#7820 on Jul 29, 2012, 8:19:48 PM

His Sunday PoE stream just started!
[Hardcore league]
IGN: Jeria / Metalgrid | |
" uh...maybe you are thinking of athene when you say "everybody laughs at him"...of course people have talked shit about kripp and he has incited trolls and haters just like anyone else on the internet that puts themselves out there but he hasnt been someone that cant be taken seriously considering he provides incite into strats/builds into the games that he actively plays at the highest level..if you dont think hes someone whose opinion matters then maybe you should tell the lead dev of this game not to join his stream and mumble server and ask his opinion on the game ign: Archery

Anyone who thinks Kripp is a bad thing for PoE is just being an idiot.
He has brought more people BUYING keys to PoE than anyone else has in the last 3 days. How can that be a bad thing? |

I watched the stream a while. He seems an alright guy, kind of a douche, but not too much.In the Q&A with Chris, he was pretty honest in his opinions, I value that.
Most of his fans are quite passionate, tough. In the end, good or bad, publicity is publicity. |
