Trouble Loading Game, Again!

Wow! I cant even start Borderlands. Definitely a system issue. I'm screwed.

Is there anyone out there that can explain to me why I can play WoW but LoL, POE, and Steam games all get the same error code as mentioned before?

Can you type in the search bar (in the start menu) "memory" and click "diagnose your computer's memory problems" Roman, I do not want to go bowling with you.

" Possibly something to do with the way WoW works now is the reason you can continue to play it, If the HDD is dying slowly and corrupting files as sectors go bad then WoW could be OK for a while...the last i remember you can actual play the game with under a gig installed and the game can just stream the rest to you...if some files go corrupted in WoW it would only need to stream new ones down as you play into non affected areas of the HDD. From a little research around, it appears that it could be driver related. I'm not sure which driver, but I'd assume video. Are you using the most recent stable released drivers for your video card? If so, is there a newer Beta version you'd like to try, or perhaps you can roll-back to a prior version?

" I just tried that, no errors found. Now I have tried to uninstall my 580 card and succeeded but it somehow re-detects the card and updates the card on its own. |

Failed again. If its not the video driver and windows doesn't detect any memory errors then there is nothing I can do except for reformatting the hard drive and starting all over again. Blah. Dont know how to detect which driver is causing the problem. As someone said earlier, it may be my hard drive is dying.

you could try something like driver sweeper to get rid of old and possibly corrupt drivers
http://www.techspot.com/downloads/4266-driver-sweeper.html nvidia ones used to fuck up after a while on occasion(this was years ago though) and even a normal uninstall of the drivers would leave stuff in the registry and what not...driver sweeper finds them all and removes them.
