Trouble Loading Game, Again!

Its that time again. I cant load the game correctly. I haven't played in a while but was looking to come back and try out the new patch update.

WerFault.exe
The instruction at 0x60dc6424 referenced memory at 0x77e0013d. The memory could not be written.

Path of Exile: Client.exe
The instruction at 0x74662c88 referenced memory at 0x00000064. The memory could not be written.

Im guessing its a memory issue? Lol

Love the game, easily one of best of the year but the technical side of it continues to fail. Thanks for the help.

Try running the game as a admin, normally that error means you don't have account privileges to run the program.

Nope, tried that didnt work. Did the whole patch thing and uninstall and then re-install.
I did some quick research for you, that region of memory is graphics memory, most common issue is video card drivers/Dx issues. Try to update both of these and see if it helps out.

I also found out trying to modify game files will cause you to get that error, but ill give you the benefit of a doubt.

Ok, thanks dude. Will try that out. I did update my video drivers. But it still wasnt working. I had issues with WoW the other day with fps. Maybe it is the video card? But WoW runs fine now.
is your card over heating?

DirectX is updated and so is my Video Drivers. Guess I'm screwed unless someone else has encountered this problem before?
Nope card is not overheating.
This Stop error message usually occurs during installation when there was an attempt in kernel mode to touch pageable memory at too high a process internal request level (IRQL). Typically, this error occurs when a driver uses an incorrect memory address. Other possible causes of this error include an incompatible device driver, a general hardware problem, or incompatible software.

what os are you running?

I use Windows 7 64 bit. I reformatted my hard drive a couple months ago. But I was playing POE without too much trouble after the reformat. Sometimes I had to re-install the game completely after a patch but at least I finally got the game to work. I agree with you though, that my problem is a system issue more then a POE issue. I just don't know what it is. I even downloaded some programs to try and fix my registry files. Probably a bad idea, who knows what kind of crap I have in OS now. Thanks for your help. Funny how people respond to technical questions faster then they do when trying to get an item off of the shop forums.
