[Quick Question] If I have 100% fire resistance do I take no damage from righteous fire?

Righteous Fire will turn off if you get your resistances to 101%.
You'll go from having 99% all resist, to having 101% all resist, because inner force will make it skip from 99 to 101 at a certain point. I've done it before, and it's really fun. Keep your resistances at a point where they only go to 99 to avoid this issue. |

" FYI, inner force buff is being NERFED to 18% total.. i think it was 30% before this will make RF builds a lot harder to reach caps without the fire resist shield. The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

I am thinking about making a build that uses RF that also has increased burning damage. It sounds crazy, but if you use it in short bursts only when you have an active Ruby flask then it doesnt even matter how much damage you take from it (If you dont dispel it after your ruby flask is gone you will probably die though)

I believe all Resistances hard cap at 95% do they not?
Or have I been misinformed? |

" This is not true at all when i pop a ruby flask my fire resist hits 101%, allowing my shield to take no damage from RF and if i take another chug my shield shoots up like it normally would when I am taking no damage for a couple of seconds, RF stays on the entire time I am the world's best path of exile player, I strong I kill all monster with amazing power

yup. RF does *no* damage if you have 100+ Resist Fire.

" Ooooh, fun. Back when I tried it, the game acted like you'd been extinquished and stopped hurting you, and then half a second later the shield turned off. I'm glad to hear that's no longer true c: |
