Onslaught doesn't seem to be a pretty good idea now.

Desync happens when monsters or your character in the PoE server did another prediction which is different from your character in client, resulting in all kinds of creative swearing from the casualties.

This problem will be more severe when monsters gets more speed in Onslaught, like how victims experience such unlucky incidents in the turbo races. So is this a bad timing to introduce Onslaught before any extensive updates are implemented to tackle the synchronization issues?

A few days ago Chris did mentioned about having better synchronizations implemented in patch 11 but I didn't see any in the recent announcements yet. I am asking for behalf of many concerned players like me who are sure to be playing this "harder" hardcore mode and I think it is better for the community to get a better heads up and get mentally prepared. So one of the direct questions is, will synchronization be improved in patch 11 next week?

P.S Thanks and cheers to GGG for the wonderful much hype and anticipated patch 11. :D
well if you want that exclusive t-shirt better suck it up and lvl every class to 60 :P
i think they will launch the onslought league just because of new sync code :D.If not it would be indeed with loads of desync :P
Game? Who needs to play the game? Forums are funny enough

Doesn't look like a major change but there should be some code change effecting desync.

You're welcome, and given that it's 'experimental' it might be a brand new way of tackling the situation. If that's the case and it works well, it might give them opportunity for substantial increases in a more timely manner as they may have found an area to focus work on.
