Mouse cursor becomes laggy and unresponsive.

I've been having this problem for awhile now where the mouse cursor starts skipping across the screen or starts moving very slowly, or just stops moving even when I'm moving my mouse. The new patch seems to have made it worse. It usually happens when their are a lot of items on the ground or when I'm looking at the first page of my stash which is full of currency items / rings / amulets and other things which are only one square big.

Hmm, this is very strange, as the cursor is generated by the hardware, so it shouldn't be affected by the game's FPS. What are your system specs? Would it be possible to make a video of it?

windows 7 64 bit
nvidia 8800 gt 2g of ram intel core duo e6850 3ghz The game itself seems to run fine when it happens, it's just the mouse cursor that skips and lags. I'm not sure if I can make a video of it, it happens somewhat randomly and I don't have any programs to make a video with. I guess I could look for a free one to download and then figure out how to upload it and stuff. I'll see what I can do. |

Don't worry if it's too much trouble, and that's odd, your PC should play the game decently, it's odd that the cursor is lagging like that. We'll investigate.
If you do want to make a video, and we can't figure it out, I'd suggest Fraps as a commonly used free recording software. Someone else on the forums can probably tell you something better :P Balance & Design

I'm having the exact same problem. After a few minutes of game, my mouse start lagging behind. This makes the mouse look as if it is jumping around the screen.
