Bloodless Notable Passive
|
It's kind of useless with the "enemies don't leech life from you." (Please correct me if I'm wrong anyone who builds Bloodless) I guess it was made with PvP in mind and not really the monsters of the game?
Instead, what if enemies couldn't leech you AND you could not take damage over time from puncture? Can't imagine players really using Puncture in pvp when there are better skills that don't rely on your opponent being inattentive (when fighting mobs, I could understand, when it's just you and this other guy in a fight to the death I think you'd notice if you were bleeding out) So the passive keeps its PvP oriented nature (by not letting you get life leeched), but adds a needed function to the PVE aspect of the game as well (where not many monsters leech life in the first place, and once you get on in level, that buff doesn't even matter) Besides, the name fits. last time i used the talent was in closed beta and whilst generally useless it was pretty good for maps that had life leech as a mod or the curse that gives the monsters it.

Life Leech is a very common ability on magic and rare monsters (in higher difficulty) to regenerate their life.

I took that node at a relatively low level, and I'm glad I did.
mobs that cast Warlord's Mark (like Oak's goons) and maps that have this modifier - are a threat nullified. blue and rare mobs that have life leech ("Sanguine" if I remember correctly) - nullified. if you have a chance to take this node - take it! Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat

Once upon a time in a closed beta far far away, monsters with the life leech modifier leeched such a high percentage of damage done that a melee character with no evasion or block could never kill them. The bloodless node is located in a place where melee characters with no evasion or block can get to. Monster life leech has since been heavily nerfed.

I've wondered for a while if this keystone shouldn't be "a monster's attempt to life leech you is reversed" instead.

" This is the reason I took bloodless with my marauder in CB, if I ran into a life leech rare I could literally not kill it. I think that the suggestion of it also making you immune to puncture is a good one, it makes sense as the puncture debuff is 'causes bleeding' and if you have no blood then how can you bleed? |

Yup,I took this notable religiously in CB.
I still wanted to take it when open beta started, but always ended up wanting that one more skill point to get to the next HP node lol |

It would definitely fit the name well (and not make it too OP) if it also made you immune to bleeding. I support that idea!
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Does anyone know if this applies to totems?
If not, it would be worth getting since totems seem to be free life in PVP |
