How to Vaults of Atziri?

I found a Maelstrom, ran that, and had a ball, that's a GOOD unique map.
As for the Vaal map...
I bought one for 6 GCP, because I'm a fucking idiot.
I got this from mine.


And about 10 alterations worth of vendor trash
I went in naked, and equipped what I could, to maximise gear I could carry out until the last portal, when I took in a wand with fireball to break the pots quicker.

If you found it, run it, play the lottery, you MIGHT get an amazing item.
That's the nature of the game, RNG gambing, you have a chance to play the slot machine for free, and you won't get the several exalted these used to sell for (unbelievable., imagine how bad those player felt!)

I have run 8 Vaults of Atziri maps in my time playing. (It's my favorite unique map)

The best drops I've ever gotten from it were Rainbowstrides (2ex) and another Vaults of Atziri (back when they were 2ex, but I ran it). Nothing really even close to that from the other ones.

If you really want profit, sell it. Vaults of Atziri to me is just another map.

If you value it at "just another map" then run it. I'm personally waging a war on that "nothing is worth using/making, sell or buy it instead" feeling that the game currently brings about.

I bought one a while back for an exalt. I didn't find anything but it was fun.

Definitely don't chisel, a chisel only adds 1% to a unique map.

Run it in a group of 5 other TRUSTED friends(who will hold your items), to increase the quantity.

iiq and iir doesn't affect chest drops I'm told, so there's no point bringing that.
