Thief's Torment is pretty crazy. If you go for a max-attack speed dual-wielder it single-handedly removes all mana concerns and gives a huge chunk of life gain on hit.

Imagine multistrike cleave with two weapons. You hit a single target 6 times per skill usage (3 swings, 2 weapons per swing) at 15 mana a hit. That means you can put supports on your cleave up to 90(!) per attack and still be mana positive against a single enemy. As soon as another enemy shows up, it's even more mana. Multistrike Dual Strike likewise returns 90 mana per use.

Split Arrow with Chain can also hit enough times to remove all mana problems.

It is a niche use, but it's way better than "cruel difficulty usable", and the game definitely needs more mana solutions that leech, EB, or BM.


I dunno what went wrong but I tested using Thief torment in my dual axe physical cleaver (supported by multistrike, conc effect, increased area of effect and WED that puts it to 67 mana per use) and I'm sure I'm not getting 90 mana when hitting a single enemy with the skill as I'm still running out of mana to use. I also have resolute technique if that matters.

It works. Try putting on an item that has higher attribute requirements than what your character has right now.

Let's take Grace level 20 and Haste level 20 :

Grace level 20 : requires 213 DEX, -25% means -53 DEX
Haste level 20 ! requires 153 DEX, -25% means -39 DEX

54 dex = 2 nodes of +30 dex (or many +10 dex nodes)
39 dex = same

The only thing that is left is +12% mana and +50 mana = around 2-3 nodes.

So arziris foible gives you 4-6 nodes.

Let's compare it with an Amulet that made me drop atziri's Foible :



+49 DEX. I need only 5 more des to beat atziris foible.
Mana regen : a little less than the unique amu.
15 ele res.
+22 int < 50 mana.

I would not say that Atziri's Foible should be modified, but i want to show that " -25% attributes requirements " is not op at all ! If another unique with this unique mod pops out then yeah we would find a use for that unique mod.
