Question about Unique Monster

Are they all held at the same "level" of odds for dropping uniques? For instance farming a lower level unique monster in act one will yield the same odds ( just not number of items ) of acquiring Blackgleam as would farming Merveil?

I only ask because I want a specific item with no lvl req. The lower I can hunt the greater the odds if I DO get a unique it's what I want not something from the pool.

Everything has a chance to drop Uniques not just Unique mobs and in my experience farming Ledge and other places Unique mobs usually drop a whole lot of JUNK CRAP instead of anything good lol. You pretty much cant hunt Uniques they aren't tied to certain levels especially the no req ones I got my Blackgleam in Merciless difficulty on my Marauder in Waterfall Cave lol so dotn waste time trying to farm a specific one if your after a certain one best bet buy it cause your never gonnna farm it.

I'm playing solo no trading so I kind of have no choice but to farm. That said that's why I asked. I know it's quicker to just trade for it, much like anyone else anywhere else in any other universe.

And no one answers my actual question!

I don't want to know how to get a unique, I want to know if the odds are the same so I can purposefully shrink the pool in the later stages of the game.
