FFA, Short alloc or perm alloc

A party leader can choose from the following item allocation modes for his party in 0.11.0:

Free for All: Items are not allocated to players and can be picked up immediately.

Short Allocation: The exact system we have at the moment. Valuable* items allocate to a random nearby player for a short duration. There is a small bonus if you're far away from the item.

Permanent Allocation: Valuable* items allocate to a random nearby player.

What party will you join/creat:
FFA,
Short Allocation,
Permanent Allocation?

My choice is FFA.

Create:
FFA for pub groups
Permanent for groups of IRL friends

Join:
Any of them

all sound good

I think FFA will be a lot of fun. Until I miss my second consecutive exalt because of ninja fingers. CURSE YOU, MOLASSES FINGERS.

Perm to the max

If the RNG actually hits for me I don't want somebody who isn't even doing any damage to get the loot.

FFA parties will punish and kick any melee based character because they will ALWAYS get first dibs. It'll take a while before people realize this, maybe a week or so, but if that shit is for real, prepare yourselves for possibly 50 different threads complaining about the subject with all posts being "Don't join FFA parties then or kick melee characters." and then it will spread until it's only FFA with ranged characters, and the other two will be whatever.

Main point is, FFA will cause a huge clusterfuck of a shitstorm on the boards because people who claim it makes the game more fun and hardcore, will suddenly realize it ain't so great when their shit is stolen. And it will happen if you party with randoms.

I await the storm. I will enjoy every single tear to the very last drop honestly.

Also, the shitstorm of people dying because they are trying desperately to run towards and item that is FFA.

Can't wait. It'll be so funny to see it.
