PoE 2 Lich Eternal life interaction

Eternal life says : your life cannot change while you have ES
Apparently it means life regen is also off even if it wouldn't change my life with the Keystone Zealot's Oath
I regenerate 1 tick of ES with hp regen, then it stops even though it wouldn't change my life value

Early Access Bug Reports for issues with PoE2.

It seems there are other reports on this issue as well. Given that they go back to this time last year, this behavior may be "working as intended" as far as GGG is concerned.

I suspect the reasoning would be that since "life cannot change", the effective recovery is 0 Life, so there's no "excess" to apply to Energy Shield.
