GGG Assist please! Newbie to Animate Guardian

I just finished putting together an animate guardian build with my Reliquarian, warped into the southern forest to test it, realized it was fire even though i forgot to equip a weapon, and then took the way point back to my hideout and now he is gone, along with all the gear i had just purchased for it! Is there anyway I can ask you to roll back my character to have his gear restored?

I was unaware that you just lose the gear on the guardian and I thought it worked like a minion and follow you into your hideout with you.

His setup was pricey and I feel like a fool, but it doesn't say that this will happen anywhere in the game, and I cant find much online about it disappearing when taking a portal.

I think i found the problem, the AG skill i was using had been "Coined" and had a totem support added to it, which i think eats the gear.

swapped out the AG gem with one without the support and he's back with all the gear, word to the wise: DONT USE AN AG GEM SUPORTED WITH TOTEM!!
