Disengage does not cancel the dodge roll animation

In the Dawn of the Hunt reveal video at 5:22 https://youtu.be/J6RGbL4MtBs?t=322 Jonathan states that

"
Disengage is a skill that does a quick jump back, damaging enemies in front of you, and it can be used to interrupt other actions, like dodge roll


However, in the current version of the game (0.4.0i) it doesn't interrupt the dodge roll animation. I am unsure if this was changed post release, however, in my opinion the skill would feel significantly better to use if it cancelled the animation of dodge roll/ other actions as was intended at some point.

Below is a video demonstrating that Disengage doesn't cancel the dodge-roll animation, in the clip I am attempting to cast Disengage whilst dodge rolling.
