Possible bug with Ritual corpse item

Hello,

I would like to report a possible issue that happened to me in Path of Exile.

I received a very rare corpse item from Ritual called "Perfect Forest Tiger" and placed it into my inventory. However, immediately after that, it appeared to be automatically used without my intention. I did not manually activate it, and the corpse ended up being consumed and appeared on the ground.

I would also like to clarify that my build does not use any corpse-related mechanics at all, so there should not have been any interaction that could trigger its use. This is why the situation seems especially unusual to me.

Because of this, I suspect it might have been a bug or unintended interaction.

If there is any possibility to restore the item, I would greatly appreciate your help, as I had no intention of using it in the first place.

Could you please check if this is expected behavior, or if something went wrong in this situation?

I am not a very frequent player, and this loss is quite significant for me, which makes the situation even more frustrating

At the moment, I am still standing next to the corpse in the same map and have not left the area, in order to preserve the current state as evidence. I have intentionally avoided any further interactions to clearly show that I did not use the corpse for any gameplay purposes

GGG never restore in-game items under any circumstances.

They only offer account & billing support.

It's a sad thing, because it would make sense to have a warning before activating an expensive item, or a way to revert it to its original state in the case of corpses. It's a shame that because of this, I lost an item worth several hours of grinding.
