Energy shield does not regenerate after taking -3000 armor on the map.

Can someone explain to me why this is happening? Every time I take -3000 armor on the map at the altar, my energy shield stops regenerating. Is this a bug?

Divine Shield.
It's -3000 base armor, not from the total. So if you have less than 3000 flat armor and 200% inc, your net armor becomes 0 and you cannot recover ES. |
