Bug Greater chain support + Spectral shield throw

The Greater chain support gem incorrectly calculates the number of chain hits specifically for the "Spectral Shield Throw" skill (apparently due to a specific way the skill is worded). Regardless of the order in which the chain hits are calculated (first +50% and then +1, or vice versa, first +1 and then +50%), the final number of chain hits should not be less than 5, but in fact, it should be 6, but definitely not 4.

To make sure I understand the correct order in which the greater chain support, I took the Storm Shield skill, which has a base chain of 1. By adding the greater chain support to the Storm Shield, I got 3 chains! So the calculation is: (1 + 1) + 50% = 3! So for the Spectral Shield throw, the calculation should be (3 + 1) + 50% = 6! But we only get 4, which is definitely a bug.
