Temple Leech/Cursing Overtuned/Concotion Gutted

The early parts to this league were quite fun exploring the new druid, and league mechanics.

I also went back to test the changes to pathfinder, give concoction another go. Unaware of how gutted it was.

Right now, campaign has completely lost all value, or rather running it feels like a utter waste of time..

This is because you can join a "Temple Leech" and have a copy pasta Blood Mage use Curse with Doedre to clear 50m hp temple mobs, shooting people up to high 90s.

This took away any real reason to play the game. Encouraging players to stand around waiting their turn or just realizing altogether they may never be able to reach such overtuned heights and be able to run something similar themselves.

I am building Concoction, No martial weapon, Hardly any way to scale its level, no support sockets until MUCH later as you progress. No real way to clear or scale the area of effect.

Mean while you have these Copy Pasta full screen curse clear 50m dps, eyes closed, hands tied builds. Covering farther distances then you can see.

I can't say im too surprised.


If you are going to leave something core to an ascendancy and have it unplayable in higher tiers. Just remove it from the game until you actually have tested in and are ready.

Would be nice if GGG actually gave some favour to something other then spells, mages, witches and necro/minions.



Anyways, this shift in the game is the most unfun shit I have ever seen, needs changes ASAP.

Not gonna lie I thought I could be the one to make Acidic concoction work. I was wrong. Did a hollow palm poison pathfinder this season, which actually worked really well in itself.

Trying to mix in acidic concoction was near impossible, because as poison scales off hit damage, most things were dead before you could even get 5 poison stacks on them. On the rare occasion where the stars aligned and some rare mob was still alive to throw the acidic concoction at, everything else around it was already dead, and even with 5 or more poison stacks on it, the acidic concoctions damage seemed to amount to only a tickle.

Guessing it was only basing the damage off one poison instance or I don't know what. Utterly and completely useless in its current state anyway.

As for the leeching stuff, yeah the group game in POE2 is an afterthought. This is a effectively a single player game right now. Even in those temple leech groups (never done one myself because it looks boring as hell and why let other people play the game for you?, but you can see the instructions people bark in global chat) only one player is attacking, because I assume the person carrying doesn't want the visual clutter, spam, lag, annoyance of other peoples attacks.

I guess that's fun for some people and no one's making anyone do it. Think it would be better for POE2 if there were actually a group game where people could collaborate and contribute roughly equally... it's a long way from that right now if that's even what they want to make it into.
