If power keeps being so tied to items then this is a mobile game

1. Making items the ONLY way to get stronger is a way to incentivize RMT. People that don't want to grind will buy currency online.
2. It feels pointless to level until X level when a couple of items are the ones doing the actual job. It is absurd being level 90 and not being able to clear actually needed content (like Arbiter to get 4 mods tablets) and being level 70 with good items and destroy the entire game. 3. Progression doesn't exist. This is tied to point 2. It feels stupid wearing a piece of gear that can literally replace 20 points of your skill tree. At this point you can remove more than half of the skill tree so people can buy their items from streamers, which are the ones selling those items day 1 after playing for 24 hours straight. You are developing this game as a mobile game. This game revolves completely around trading and RMT rather than progression and having fun by actually playing. The RNG is demential in this game, which makes it even worst. This is the only game I actually regret paying for. The concept, the mechanics and the marketing around it was extremely misleading. PoE2 is straight a trade simulator, it reminds me of those Facebook game that made you invite your friends to it in order to progress or getting X material. Last bumped on Mar 5, 2026, 3:42:42 PM
