There needs to be a way to opt out of Kingsmarch but get like 80% of the rewards. So people who love it can play it, but people who hate it (me) can focus on other things and just dump gold into like, buying shipments (like the random shipments in maps), in such a way we get like 80% of the way there, but not the crazy rare powerful and unique stuff from Kingsmarch.

What is this reasoning? I want Blight chest rewards without doing any Blights.
I want Heist reward by spending Rogue's Marker and not doing Heist.
You can opt out of Kingsmarch in the Atlas tree...
You have to play it because Kingsmarch is too powerful to ignore. It's not like "I prefer blight to delve". Instead you're just losing out on an insane amount wealth, so you're forced to do the management game instead of mapping to actually keep up.
I always love to see people with under 10 challenges and mediocre characters telling everyone how they are right about a mechanic even though they absolutely barely touched it and are actually experiencing fomo from too much youtube.
Here's the deal, you can have an insanely powerful character and have fun without interacting with the arguably "too good to ignore" mechanic.
I've managed to gear up a non-ignite (purely hit based) retaliation build that literally chunks Ubers and runs unided t17s without touching Kingsmarch.
The game has so much content that there is absolutely no way to lose out on anything.

Phys melee is not in a great state rn, if you are nerfing exertion, than give us alternatives: for example buff impale, maybe bloodthirst, etc.
ES builds can be more popular with a budget, i suggest not to nerf it, but do smth with life
Why did you delete horizon orbs? It was very comfy to reroll map into another of the same tier

Nobody forcing you to do it. All my friends didn't do it last league and we all had fun and got enough currency for our builds idea.
This is a self-inflicted scenario.

Using an Astrolabe on a Map on the Atlas manifests a Shaped Region in that quadrant of the Atlas, affecting many of the Maps within it. There are many types of Astrolabes, and they apply different types of Shaped Regions.
= Go run our annoying maps (maze/cells/lava chambers/etc.) or miss out on vaults (good loot)

I barely played last league cause of ARPG burnout since i play PoE 2 as well and played Last Epoch.
If you check on my profile you can see i have 36-40 challenges in the last 5 leagues...
And how you can judge how mediocre a character is before even seeing it in-game, I delete/sell gears on most of them every league anyway.
Not sure why you say that but argue with me afterwards?
