0.4.0e Hotfix 2

Your typical indifference to customer feedback is why I rarely engage with these patches, but this time, I'm compelled to respond.

Nerfing consumables is absurd, especially when they're essential for creating anything valuable in the game and vanish upon use. The drop rates for most of these items are already abysmally low. This issue is exacerbated in rituals, particularly with the Omen of Whittling, which is nearly impossible to obtain without hours of investment and is vital in any craft worth a damn.

Instead of relentlessly ruining the experience for your most dedicated players, who are the ones capable of farming these items and have the high-level gear needed to clear the content, why not focus on enhancing map mechanics? Why not introduce mlvl 90 maps or significantly increase pack sizes? These changes could make the endgame at least somewhat bearable, as we grind through countless maps hoping for a single item to drop that's actually worthwhile.

Since I'm on the subject, I might as well air my other grievances.

The removal of the Omen of Homogenizing Exaltation and Omen of Homogenizing Coronation was a baffling decision. Why discourage players from crafting what they desire, especially when these omens are so rare and expensive?

The removal of these omens, coupled with the nerfs to socketables and the Essence of Horror (why make it 60% and also punish us by limiting some socketables to 1 use), is infuriating. The time it takes to craft gloves that have Essence of Horror and other desirable suffixes is insane, so why tf nerf it? IT'S VERY NATURE IS NERF ENOUGH!!

I also feel compelled to mention that limiting item rarity to a cap of 19 is a soul-crushing decision and it makes me sick to look at. Why not cap it at 20, a more aesthetically pleasing number?

nobody cares about players and economy

devs are alike government... their actions based on paper reports. they dont go on a street and ask people, they dont use things they produce

looks like it's time to switch game or quit gaming... as there is no any single game really good and friendly for gamers.. everyone wants to get max money from players, not to deliver fun to them, they want to get ALL your time, not to let you play 1-2 hours per day, so here you are gambling anywhere, drop nerfs and so on.

it's clear for me who these devs are. i just started in 0.3 and 1.5 leagues is enough for me to understand what is this game about

This is why I switched to single player games. Much better.
Imagine we could actually see some usefuel changes in this game!

- fixing the delayed loot / medaillon drops in vaal temple
- fixing the settings menu that kicks u out of ur session when changing some graphic setting..
- enemies stuck in rooms / locked doors in temple
- headhunter bugs in temple (mobs not activating until u take hh off)
- lock drop rate - yes they know how we like to play by now
- server performance
- controls not reacting for some reason until u relog
- architect deleting stuff he shouldnt be able to

this list still missing a lot of stuff...

but i only see nerfs here and after the hype is gone and everyone and his mother left, they do some useless things that worked for us since the start of the league.

sorry, i want to know how u devs prio things that needed patching.

We reached the point where only "mirror tier" items are worth the use of consumables like "Omen of Light", "Ancient Ribs" ect., Catalysts and most of the ritual stuff, cause their so ridiculious rare.

One more thing about the Omen of Light, cause their a main piece of a core crafting mechanic...
Something is absolutley off if a desecration of an item a second time is more expensive then the item itself!

because its easier to nerf and destroy things than to create and improve things. it's that simple. it can take years to build a skyscraper but it can come down in 10 seconds.

I completely agree. There are so many bugs that interfere with the game, and those should be the main focus of the patches—just like the ones on your list. Instead, they completely ignore what actually affects players and focus on things that only make the game more miserable. It honestly feels insane; it makes no sense at all!
I want Adam back.
