It's funny to me how people want more ground loot only to turn more of it off with filters. The truth is people just want specific currency to drop in droves, not realizing that it will only make everything more expensive. Tink addiction might be a real thing. Setting scroll of wisdom's drop sound to tink for a week might help.
Regarding Mirage - I kinda feel it's just gonna use poe2 assets again, which will result in models taking more time to load, or sometimes not even loading at all, like the breach boss on maps is sometimes just a floating weapon with shoulder pads. Personally I hope it's not about djinns or whatever, but seeing how it's about WISHING, I'm afraid it will be.
Both games' themes are merging and visual fatigue from playing one affects the other. Like, going from djinn class in poe2 to djinns in poe1 is kinda underwhelming.
Since it's about wishing, I WISH both games had very different areas, themes and premises.
And one last thing, GGG can't really design either of the games to adhere to all type of players at the same time. We have casuals, power gamers, and some in-between, so there are always some people who can't enjoy the league. But it's especially true for power gamers: too much loot = bad, easier crafting = bad, a mechanic that greatly rewards the player, but takes time and effort to use? = bad. The ugly truth is that power gamer wants to get to endgame asap and find a strategy that nobody knows about and get rich only to stop playing in 1-2 weeks. Bros swallow their dinner whole and complain that it wasn't enough and had no taste, so they blame the dinner that it didn't serve itself in small portions over time. You're supposed to ration it for yourself.
I don't know what you're talking about in the first paragraph. The reduction in Keepers drops is very obvious. When you're using a strategy that involves higher investment and higher demand than last season, and you're using the same level of filter, it's clear that the number of all types of currency, whether EX, C, D, etc., drops will be significantly reduced.

Nah. People do play and enjoy playing in Kingsmarch. It's not the Breach Wall that annoys most people. Don't try to kill part of the game just because you want POE1 to die. The economy is stable — people farm gold/uniques/maps and spend some of it playing KM. Don't troll content just because you're jealous or feeling FOMO.

I don't get also why the heck is everyone wanna delete KM.
I mean its not so strong in terms of free big currencies income.
Also to sustain city - you really wanna do decent maps juiced farm for some time(5x scarabs Deli/Beyond/Harb maps - which each gives around 80-100k gold per run), or Cassia Pomp farm with big IIR/IIQ/packsize for also 200-300k gold,or other juiced farms that requires you to invest into.
With usual map farm - you can't sustain city for a long time - map runners diying pretty often/Sailors too - each town recruitment rerrol at least 2.000 gold cost - i mean it's really not that simple to sustain city for 7+ days and more with non-stop disenchanting/Crop farming/ Mine/Smelting, 3x portal map runners.

Yeah. Spend almost 100 % of time doing KM content (farmin gold my meta activity). If not this my Breach 2.0 will be finish month ago at least. But keeping working KM cost many effort and it is balanced really good. I don't like crafting or delving/heisting all the time. I understood removing mechanic that is death enoght like Metamorph, Prophecies or Perandus becouse is not big or too old to keep them still alive.

Well, the real pro move is buy a few million gold in rotas for like 3-5div, and enjoy 10x+ the profit in KM with no effort.

It's normal that people are annoyed at Kingsmarch and Tree.
Imagine if each new league, GGG added a slot to the Map Device.
But of course, to "balance" loot, GGG would also reduce item quantity and rarity.
6 leagues later, with your 12 slots Map Device, you'd end up having to use 11 scarabs instead of current 5 for about the same amount of loot.
Of course, you could still keep using just 5 scarabs, but you'd get nothing compared to people using 11.
And honestly ? I feel that's exactly what happened with our current Map Device.
Things like Kingsmarch are functionality the same. You can ignore it and pretend you are doing fine. Even believe it. But compared to the rest of the player base, you're just behind, simply for refusing to make your life more difficult and swallow GGG's pill.
Now, KM isn't worth +6 to Map Device slots, and regular mapping is still viable. But until when ?
Our civilization rose so much through the mind that it sometimes becomes difficult to reincarnate our own bodies.
And yet, when we surrender ourselves to one another, I see the wild beasts come back out.
When so rarely we embrace, I can hear the breath of dawn. Last edited by Wonderglass#0198 on Feb 20, 2026, 9:25:27 AM
