Any chance to release the exact start date 1-2 months in advance? People would love to plan their lives a bit before the league start

2 leagues a year is not what we were promised. Would appreciate if you stick to 4 months release schedule when you go out and say thats how it WILL be moving forward.

Words and action never seem to align, the content is good and game is great, but communication has been consistently bad and create false expectations every single time. Things always gets pushed back, taken out of patches, moved further away. 6-12 months turned to 24 months, 0.2 became 0.3, 0.3 became 0.4 etc. 4 months became 5 months.

PoE1 has 10% the playerbase of PoE2, time to go all in on PoE2 and stick to the promises made, timeline over content.

Where did you get your data? According to Steam DB, PoE2's player count in the last two seasons is less than double that of PoE1. Moreover, until PoE2 took over most of the resources, even causing PoE1's 3.25 update to go 300 days without a update, PoE1's player count was very stable. Meanwhile, your beloved PoE2 has never reached its peak since version 0.1. Which game is truly superior?

If we go from DEC 12 to May 12, thats 151 days. Which is 5 months. Because if late April is the "Showcase" we generally get new league like 1-2.5 weeks later on average.

What happened to 4 month between leagues GGG? Why does PoE2 get 5 months and pushed back dev time?

If my guess is right, and 0.5.0 is may 12th, then were looking at 83 more days, meaning were not even half way through 0.4.0 time period.

Sigh.

They need to ditch poe1, damn waste of resources on a dead game.

It's funny to say a game with a consistently growing player base is dead. Even more interesting is that this comes from someone who hasn't bought many patron packs. PoE2 is just PoE 0.5, a collection of past shortcomings of PoE1.
Steam concurrent player numbers are worse than useless. Don't be tempted.
But POE 1 isnt better then POE 2? Why it would kill poe1 league then? lul

Casual players who only play the campaign once and never play again will always stick to the latest games. This is why PoE2's player base is declining but currently larger than PoE1's. It seems many people don't believe PoEDB's data, especially casual players like you who didn't even complete the PoE1 campaign or buy many patron packs.

PoE2's current predicament is that casual players tend to talk a lot, and someone seems to control everything in the game, as if making things easier for other players would be a huge pain for them.
My guess is April 30th for the announcement and then the league coming out May 8th which would put it close to 5 months from 0.4.0

The question is would this also be an extended league? 4 months would put the next league in September and I doubt they would do another new league 3 months later for Christmas
PoE2 ultimately needs to realize that it's a loot game, not a high-difficulty action game like Souls. If the final version remains the same, it will simply be a PoE 0.5 with better graphics.
