0.4.0c Hotfix 12

I think a lot of ya'll are missing the point here. This is early access, this is the time for them to find and fix balance issue like this. Yes, the economy is in the tank, but it was the day fubgun and the others figured this out and took the enormous amount of time it takes to set it up. They are being rewarded for all the time they put into a mechanic most of you wrote off as being bad, which is why you didn't figure this out. It is intended game mechanics, the real issue is that the payout is to high. Its the rewards that need balancing, not the set up.
Players should be rewarded for putting that much time into figuring out the mechanics. First you all complained it was not rewarding enough, so they buffed the rewards before they went of vaca. Now that people have done all the hard work and figured out how to min/max it, you want them to reset all the temples? How would you feel if you put over 10hrs into setting this up just to have it nerfed because the people that don't feel like putting that time in feel left behind. I'm not saying its perfect, rewards definitely need balancing, but ya'll are being a bit cry babyishe right now. And no, I do not have a greedy snake set up. I personally could not be bothered to put all that work in like many of you. Difference is I don't expect equal rewards for unequal work. |

... and to everyone saying the economy and temples should be reset.... ya'll are the same people that would have a FIT over mid league nerfs any other time.
The game is NOT over. There is a build I saw on youtube just yesterday that can beat T3 arbiter with NO GEAR AT ALL. So its sill quite possible to have plenty of fun without a min/maxed 500 div account. Last edited by BlightDragon89#9329 on Dec 30, 2025, 8:45:49 AM

Aparently there are no penalties to exploit users. If you dont do something to penalize the ones that used it, and you dont let others to use it, you are giving more advantage to those who already have the temple layout, because the rest cant catch up.
At minimum you have to make those snakes collapse or dont fix the exploit, so everyone can use it |

It isn't the rewards people are as upset about. At least not me.... the issue that should have been taken care of is the mass of divines moved to "carry services" that were farming 50d every couple hours by selling their low level holten instance. There should still be some form of punishment for exploit abuse, even in early access imo.
Leave rewards the same, that is fine, that gives players a chance at least to catch up sort of...maybe... However, multi mirror builds are already profiting hand over fist and will continue to do so this league. Just call it a wash until .5 in March and do whatever you can to catch up if you "want to". |

" I agree. This forum should ban those people dont have support packs. and more support packs purchase they have more privilege. Purchase support packs make you feel superiority, right? |

from a game design POV this really isn't smart. those who already abused it to set up their temples have a now unreachable advantage over those who did not. i hope you work on an actual fix, because like this, you make those who did not spam temples yet even more mad.

" stop gaslighting yourself, its not early access. monetizing with support packs every 2 months is not EA. |

" Most people don't have their temple setup done and the price increase is adjusted for those that have their temple done, which is I'd say maybe the top 1-5% players that have their temple done. The time it takes to get the snake-setup is not short, and in that time while people trying to setting up the temple-snake, those players that already finished their temple-snake printing even more currencies with the recent buff. It would make sense if this situation happened in PoE 1, because there are many many resources that players need but the method to acquire those resources are not pidgeon-holed to 1 mechanic. If people farm juiced map for raw currencies drop, then essences / resonator / fossils / harvest seed will go up. Players can easily compete in the market. Not only that, most of juicing content in PoE 1 also need resources to be accessed ; T17 / originator / scarabs. The wealth generated will be adjusted by the market, and the market adjust itself. In PoE 2 however, 0 investment needed beside time to setting up temple but the reward is absurdly high, especially before holten fix. Even after holten fix, you only need a map. No tablet needed, no other resources needed. Currencies are getting printed again and again, but sink is not enough. Currencies also mostly changing hands, but not consumed that much. If people start charging omens higher, rare items higher, the impact will not affect those players that already done their temple. They don't need anymore of these resources, all they need are only temple. And even if they do need them, the consumption rate will be low and they can just buy anything. This would only affect the general players, the one that don't have their temple setup done, the one that still progressing their gear, the general playerbase. Eventually market will adjust itself, either keeping prices higher and higher and less people interacting with the economy, or keeping prices low and stable which is not changing the situation at all of getting profits from other farm strat. Yet, those that already reap all the benefits and reward before holten fix, get no disadvantages at all, heck, they even get even more reward with temple buff. The hotfix should be let Holten tech stay, temple buff stay, increase charges significantly from maps. Make t15 have 3 crystal charges at base, and 6 with t15 6mod. Make t16 give 6 crystal charges with any amount of mods, and T16 6mods 12 crystal charges. |

Thx for the fix! W
But this should have included a reset of the temple or at least a deletion of a certain %-number of rooms based on how many rooms your temple has. |
