Why are there so many ppl crying about bans and temple resets I really dont get it... 1st of all, this isn't an abuse nor is it a bug, it is just playing the mechanic as it was designed. Now is it a bad design? You can argue that, but why the hell would you ban anyone for just playing the game? And 2nd, that the holten respawn got fixed for sure sucks if you havent set up your temple, but you can still set it up the same way, you just need more time to do so.

I don't even know what I've just read - how did you come to that conclusion? I am pretty sure the people who were making a ton of currency "resetting Holten" are very happy, because they already did it (you just had to do it to setup the temple), you did not have to do it all the time.

People "complain" about certain players farming ungodly amount of currency using clearly unintended (as the nerfs show) and overpowered strategy and then GGG nerfing this strategy (I don't think those players did anything wrong by the way, it is just GGG's mistake). But that doesn't change the fact that they did it, economy got obliterated, and now GGG is nerfing the "catch up mechanism" for players that were not abusing Holten, and buffing already created set ups - that were created by abusing Holten - by boosting the number of crystals they get from high tier maps (so they can re-run their already set up temples more often). So not sure where did your take come from, but it is completely delusional. And it is a valid "complain", as you put it.

Overall those are good changes, just not for this league: this is basically league-ender for people that were not doing the temple-snake strat, as now they will need what? 50-60 hours to set up the temple to try to catch up to the economy (althogh there is a chance that by the time the set it up, no one is playing anymore anyway).

I must say though, this was one of the worst leagues in how it was "managed" by GGG. Every decision they've made seemed to reward the players abusing the OP strats while throwing the logs under the feet of players that refused to do it and tried to play the game other way. It really does feel like you need to be for lookout every day on streams & YouTube for any new OP farming strategy and start doing it right away, otherwise you won't be able to catch up the economy EVER. If you're playing trade ladder, you cannot "pick a mechanic" to play (Ritual, Breach, Essences & Spirits, whatever), you have to do the OP things.

Another thing is: the big problems were with the two mechanics they've added last league (Abyss rare monster extravaganza) and this league (Temple snake) - clearly those mechanics need to be better tested in the future (I know the game is technically in EA state, but the leagues are run and played "as if" the game was fully released). So either react to those anomaly strats faster - don't let people farm it for a week and THEN nerf it - or test the strats better.


This... seems like the worst possible mid league fix in history...

i rly hope u ll look into those who gained advantage in holten and take the currency gained after first occasion of cheating - ALL away.. otherwise u dont care on the market..

I guess I will just play this game like very randomly from now on, GGG has zero idea how to build a solid game economy which actually has a very straight-forward solution, just increase the monster life and damage exponentially to the number to players when team farming.
Temple bug is one thing, group farming is the real issue.
In order to be able to build the temple reasonably regularly, more crystals are needed. 2 crystals for a T15 6 mod map is far too little. You still need an infinite number of runs until you have built your temple to a reasonable extent.
T15 6 mods should give at least one run, i.e. 6 crystals. I have no problem with T16 6 mods, but not everyone can say the same. It simply takes far too long to build the temple. Especially if you don't get the right rooms.

Very few people can complete T16 6 mods in a minute. Most will need several minutes, especially since I only get 2 crystals there.

Especially since you should also be able to trade the crystals for those who don't want to go to the temple at all.

The bottom line is that the crystal gain needs to be increased massively. At least 6 crystals per map, whether T15 or T16, shouldn't matter to me. 15 would be more accessible to everyone and good for the game.
