Casual player - game not rewarding

Dear GGG,

I would like to share some concerns regarding the current state of currency drops in the game. Over the past few days, despite running a significant number of maps, we have not seen any high-value currency drops such as Divine Orbs. Several of my friends have noticed the same issue.

We are casual players and do not heavily juice maps or focus on specific high-end content like Vaal Temples, yet the overall rewards feel noticeably worse than before. At the same time, inflation seems very high — Exalted Orbs have lost much of their value 500ex - 1d, and the smaller currencies that do drop feel largely insignificant.

I am concerned that if regular gameplay does not feel rewarding, many casual players may lose motivation to continue playing. A sense of progression and meaningful rewards is crucial to keeping players engaged.

Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback.

Kind regards,
E.

This gamne is not designed for casual player.
Thats why PoE2 lost 95% player base. Only fanatics of hardcore gaming stays and GGG base budget on them.
Are the casuals buying cosmetics to keep the game alive?
Wr have been telling them loot is bad since .1 and it has only gotten worse every patch since then. At this point i just want one of the streamers to ask mark and Johnathan what they think a good reward is bc basic rng currencey ain't it

please GGG, add poe2 character list on poe forum (not only character list from poe1)

poe2 is TOO easy und TOO fast.

the game is too casual friendly holy shit.

Poe2 is far too casual-friendly. The whole game is becoming more and more simplified. Who are you trying to kid?

I bet all the people who claim that the game isn't casual-friendly haven't even played for two hours. Please add to the forum that we can see all the characters of the people in the forum (Poe2 characters).

The reason you cant see our poe 2 characters is bc I play on console according to the site I dont have access to poe 2. But it wouldnt do you any good to look at my lv 87 + characters bc it would just disprove your point
IMO if they can slow down the clear speed and currency/hour of the top builds, then it would make lots of sense to increase the currency drops in general for everyone.

This would be a good thing in that it would also enable more players to try out crafting themselves.
If only this game had an actual SSF mode with target farming and ways to boost your drops (like LE) so people could ignore stuff like trading and economy. If only.

I mean he's right and this is well known. The game isn't casual friendly at all and PoE never has been. It has always catered to people who have more time to invest into the game. With PoE2 it has a bigger impact on casuals because of the time investment required to get into endgame to begin with. If anything the game is opposite of casual friendly. This is agreed on by the majority.

Easy and hard are also not relevant to being casual friendly or not, as difficulty in PoE is self imposed by the player in both games. You can adjust the difficulty of the game by how you progress. You say, for instance, that the game isn't hard, but you prob follow a guide and have a creator basically play the game for you.

Also your profile is private. You may want to see the characters of people playing, but if you aren't willing to do the same all your replies will be ignored.

Have a good one though and hope this helps to give you a better understanding of how the game actually works.

SSF is great. Always play ssf and the progression was nice this league. If you haven't played it I would recommend giving it a try, as I even prefer it more than ssf in PoE1.
