The league is going well right now. There's no reason for a new league.

" It honestly feels like GGG doesn’t give a damn about our testing. For many months now, it’s been clearly pointed out what needs fixing first, yet those issues are still in the game. A lot of things that were tested and fixed in PoE1 are coming back in PoE2 in the worse, pre-fix versions. After Wilson left, they seem to have lost the vision for PoE2 and don’t even know themselves how they want to develop it. |

" Yeah, that's about right and what I was saying on the 2 boards a year ago. When 0.3 patch notes came out with decisive PoE1 feel being added to gameplay I warned the diehard "keep-it-slow" players they were going to get a black-edged awakening. Most said they would rather quit - I wonder if they did. 2 is chock full of random ideas cobbled from 1 but without coherence and getting moreso with each update. And sweet mother of all that's holy in gaming WTF is that endgame?! It's a maze without end or purpose just all dead turns - so, so bad. |

If they stay "on schedule" then expect a new POE1 league teasers starting around mid February. If they don't, then pick some random month/date in the future and you'll be equally correct.
Personally I stopped the league after a month and went back to standard. Mercenaries league died for this, and I would be fine playing A YEAR of mercenaries league because of all the build variety it offered. |

" do you se trade? uber dead it never be that bad for 11 years_ |

" Vision of what exackly? " I think the problem is pace. GGG want too much to fast. And what they really need is time. |
|
" Leagues have basically always been on life support about 2 months in, and trading always gets more obnoxious the deeper you go, which the new trade system bravely changed by changing almost nothing. That said, a league feeling dead does not mean we need to spin up a brand new one on demand, like a fresh league every 2ish months because oh no, trade is dead. We have already seen what moving from a 3 month cycle to a 4 month cycle did, it helped deliver overall stronger leagues. And we are also seeing the opposite right now when you cut that time down toward 2 months. Now imagine the absolute shitshow if devs had a month or less to rush something together on the fly, just to hand a few individuals a fresh league all because trade feels dead to them. So either play the current league like some people still do, or do what most people do and take a break until the next league arrives at a normal pace, instead of demanding a new league the moment this one stops personally entertaining you.
