These leagues always have problems that need fixing and you vanish in christmas for the league to suck for a very long time. It takes you a week to settle back in from the vacations then you release the earliest patch by a week or so. We wait for a whole month to even for changes to come in.

Nobody is saying don't take a break in Christmas, just stop releasing leagues so close to your national holiday...

Do the leagues in November so you can polish the bad mechanics then go on vacation.

The vaal temple changes are mild because you are going to vacation and if something breaks you wont be there to monitor and fix it. This happened last year too.

Or you could just wait till it's fixed, and then play it.

El. oh. él.

What kind of logic is that? How is "just not play the game" helping ggg or the players?

What OP is saying is perfectly reasonable, especially in the case of poe 2

Since it's a brand new game it has a lot of problems with crashes and stuff like that (just look at all the patch notes)
On top of that, they added an entirely new class with different forms with different active and passive skills, not to mention the addition of a new league mechanic

They have to solve problems with all 3 before going into vacation, i don't know if that's healthy for the company AND the game

If anything, they should've release 0.4 in January

PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley
You could just solve it by having some employees not take off after holidays and give them time off later.
+1 Enough with Leagues...
They'd have to shift the release schedule of both games for this, so leagues would still be 2 months apart.

The most feasible way for them to shift both games release schedule by 1 month so one aligns with November and the other aligns with January would be to entirely skip or drastically reduce the scope of a release for one of the games.

I doubt they'd dare skimp on another PoE1 league, which means the most likely outcome of them listening to you guys would be that the next real PoE2 league will be in July.

Somehow I doubt those of you complaining about no patches for a few weeks would be happy about that development. Patience doesn't seem to be your strong suits.
