Less Life Regeneration in Wolf Form

Ive noticed while playing durids werewolf form that when I equip items that have "-.-to life regeneration" that when im in werewolf form i get less life regeneration than gaining...
Is this a bug or a visual glitch on the games end? Doesn't seem to be correct as im not having any benefits from having more regen so having to sustain with leech currently.
