While this does work fps suffered massively. I went from 120+ to 30-40 fps.
9800x3D and a 9070XT..
Completely unacceptable for GGG to just say fuck AMD users. Use a driver from September because Oct-Dec are "unstable".
How about get your game working better. Like really.....

I have the same issue with 9070XT and Ryzen 7 9800X3D. I do have dual 2k monitors, but 30FPS with stutters and jitters is still unacceptable. The message about the latest driver being unstable tells me GGG knew beforehand about some compatibility problems with the latest driver. I don't care which side fixes it. As a user, I just want to play the damned game I paid for.

edit: Now I can't actually get into the game. Been sitting here 15 minutes waiting to get past the loading screen. FML.

Tested on windows and I am getting the driver version pop up, but there's no change to performance. Cleared cache just in case.

I'm using drivers 25.12.1 on a 7800xt here. I get the warning but the game seems to work fine after several hours of playing. I did get one crash alt tabbing, something about a desync issue.

I have a 7800xt and cant seem to get of the loading screens. This is crazy. How am i suppose to roll back my drivers from months ago. I do play other games as well. So i guess the only option POE is giving us is a way to play their game and nothing else. Wow this is crazy.

I really looked forward to this update and now cant even play it and seems like they wont even fix it. Thanks alot.

seems dubious there all of a sudden is a bug in the driver instead of the issues being with their update, when those same drivers worked fine for a year pre-0.4.0

Game Worked fine for me yesterday (have been using DX12 even before) It did have a few hiccups and I switched upscaling from FSR - Native AA to off bc it gave me some weird light flickers.
I started my pc today and my graphics card driver gave me a black screen on startup and restarted. After that during a small play session the game froze and my driver completely crashed...

The driver was working fine with 0.3 - I know because I recently logged in

Whatever GGG changed - they broken driver compatibility in 0.4


if the driver was working fine previously, telling us to downgrade it is bad, fix the game, or made a workaround.

This is barely playable now, I guess I will be skipping this patch at this rate
