The intent is to make the game look popular during the Game Awards broadcast by inflating the Twitch numbers. That's it.

No it's about telling more people about the free weekend and them hoping some of those people spend money in the game or buy EA etc

I got TRICKED twice by league of legends twitch sub rewards (was the wrong person to sub to even though the 'drops' were turned on in their stream) so I dont trust twitch to pay them my money. Brown bear was kinda meh, a LOUDER one like a panda or polar would have been eye popping though

The time really is rough for EU players...
