Talkative Tri's Podcast with Jonathan Rogers Next Week

Knowing it's a Jonathan - Tri interview, I instantly am prepared for a very soft and shallow peek of what's coming, and probably even skippable since no essential info will be said. Would have preferred the Ghazzy/Micro duo interview any day of the week - they come to me as a middle ground in both vibe and adequacy to the upcoming patch changes, but that'll require both Mark and Jon to be interviewed.

But hey, let's give some credit to the guy - he is not "THAT" bad - maybe a bit cringe and comes off as a casual player, which he admits to be, but he does want the game to be good, so he'll be hyped about it and won't make Jon uncomfortable as he's a "safe" pick for this uno-on-uno interview, and he'll just ask convenient questions that Jon will be able to answer. Which goes back to what I already said - I definitely don't expect anything new to be said outside of the reveal tomorrow, just some fluff and a pinch of excitement to keep us motivated until the patch.

Overall, I think there's no need for hate - I think he was asked as they would yap more than having an actual discussion on touchy topics, and tbh he's a good pick for this. Sadly, that's not what I personally want, but I am coping they are doing this move as Mark needs to rest from all the heavy carrying he is doing in the game development.

awesome! based on their previous interviews, Tri and Jonathan have a good chemistry. I'm sure he asks about the performance and the visual clarity stuff. And for Jonathan it must be nice to hear some of the more "casual" player questions rather than just the hardcore blasters asking for more and more juice and buffs. I think we get to hear about Jonathans actual vision for the future. And I prefer seeing Happy Jon rather than him being grilled to a crisp.
