Endgame clarity is abysmal! Some thoughts to read and criticize!

DEATHS----
Death due to not being able to see what is going on creates a vibe that makes me want to play something else.
You can't fight back against a 1 shot.
Getting one shot with no explanation of HOW it happened is mentally crippling.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!
TELL ME WHAT KILLED ME!!!!

YAY! Got that out of the WAY! Moving on..

Enemy Combatants----
Enemies having the buffs from a shrine before the player clicks has been bugging me for a LONG time. WHY put that in?
What are all these explosions 10-20 seconds after I've cleared every mob?
Why does every mob explode on death??
What are these big floating enemies with no health bars that randomly appear even though there are no enemies left? Just WHY???? They can start their abilities OFF SCRENE and hit you from OFF SCRENE!?!? The only counter play is to dodge a thing you can't see?
Why make the abyss queens or w/e the big things are, take up so much unit space.
They body block constantly. Body blocking, I'm noticing is a really really big issue late game. IF my character gets stuck in any one single position for even a fraction of a second I die.

MAP CLUTTER----
Delirium is a cool idea, but making the game harder by literally not allowing me to use my eyes as a key component of making decisions is ridiculous in the context of a game that relies on visual Q's. Just get rid of the FOG, and keep the enemy difficulty... Its not rocket science.
The Fog issue might just be a symptom of the much larger "Why did I die" issue.

Map Clutter is still all over the place. Constantly getting stuck on walls that obviously do not LOOK like walls. Trying to run up or down stairs, that look as if they are there, but they aren't.
Breakable objects being placed in direct pathing, acting as invisible artificial walls.
Almost ALL the transitions in maps where there are stairs have terrible visual representation.
Dead ends in maps that serve no purpose other than to waist the players time.
All the tiny halls and trails and coves and nooks don't feel real. They feel like an badly programmed algorithm put them there.
Walls and Trees and really ANYTHING tall constantly gets in the way of being able to see things.
If its tall enough for the game to need to make it see through, just give me the option to turn that stuff off.
Let me turn off brush and trees and grass and water and shadows and spectral highlights and everything else that would cause the game to run sub-optimally AND be visually hard to understand. Currently in the options I think you can only turn these settings DOWN and not OFF.
Ohh and lets not forget the ground Effects.
Why can maps have small pools everywhere that aren't enemies, that cant be avoided, that CAN KILL YOU. WHY? Why am I being forced through corridors with back to back to back to back pools that I HAVE to WALK OVER to complete the map? Why?

Abilities----
Ability Casting Clutter is ridiculous also. I can't visually see what is going on because of Delirium, and on top of that every ability I use just adds to the visual mud pie.
Heralds add to the visual mud pie.
An option to turn off explosions would be sweet.

-My computer is decent but it has a hard time with what this game asks for.-

Most INDIE games that have this problem give the player the option to just turn that stuff off.
I do not care if the game looks GOOD. It needs to PLAY GOOD. Let me turn off all the toxic visual effects.
Every negative side affect a player is FORCED to take(the Negative is baked into the ability or support Gem or piece of gear) in order to get something good feels terrible. It's honestly so BAD that I don't even try. I just find a YouTube Video of someone trying it and failing or trying it an winning. If it's a winning strategy, I try it...
Give less of the good thing and remove the bad.
or
Just give the good thing and balance the game correctly.
Forcing Negatives on your players for making Normal everyday game choices is NOT a good thing.

GEAR----
Why is Light Radius still in this game?
Why is Reduced Attribute Requirements still in this game?
I don't understand why things I will NEVER EVER EVER want to do are available as an option TO DO.
Why are there options that a player can choose that completely destroy an item that was decent? NO ONE wants that. I do understand that this is a terrible solution to an In-Game Economic Inflation problem.
This game has a Clutter issue and the gear wasn't forgotten. 99% of the unique items have no use...
or its use is so NICHE that only 1 type of character or build can use it. Then there is that 1% that is extremely good and is used by everyone.
They made Unique Items feel like Rares and Rares feel like Blues, Blues feel like Whites, and Whites are USELESS unless they have the extra socket they shouldn't have. Even then the white is still useless if it doesn't corrupt into the extra extra socket.

RANGER----
As a Ranger I'm still getting drops for warriors, and spell casters, Why? I CAN'T use that gear!!!!! There is NO reason to EVER EVER use other characters stuff. It's always a decrease in DPS, if it isn't, they WILL patch it out. "COUGH" Orb of Storms.....

To clarify, if these drops, (THAT ARE NOT FOR MY CHARACTER) if they are excluding drops that could be for my character, because these NON RANGER items have a chance to drop for my Ranger -That Really Sucks-.
Further clarity... I do use item filters to turn off these drops. The PROBLEM is that they are POLUTING THE DROP POOL for MY CHARACTER.

Mapping----
Why do I have to travel to different locations to put 22 things into and 47 clicks on a Waystone to get it ready so I can get tablets ready, so I can ACTUALLY play the GAME!!!!
I want to KILL MONSTERS and GET GOOD LOOT for it.

Gambling/Crafting----
I don't want to Gamble/Craft the loot. To Clarify... I like the idea of crafting, if the investment GUARANTEES the outcome. That is crafting. The largest problem I see with Gambling/crafting is that the items that REMOVE a suffix or prefix are far far far to RARE. If I can't easily remove something, crafting leans farther towards Gambling.
Gambling is a gateway to NOT getting anything and going broke.
I'm glad people can craft, and that they have the option to gamble.
That being said, crafting is a band-aid solution to "Why is my Ranger getting Warrior drops?" Or "Why don't these Enemies I kill ever drop anything worth using?"
The auction house addition was amazing and helped speed up my Abyss playthrough 10 fold. What took me 300-500 hours before, this time I was able to do in 100-200.

Every patch this game gets has made me extremely happy. I've logged almost 1000 hours of gameplay and I've enjoyed at least 70-80 percent of that time.
Seems to me this is the kind of game you play for 4-6 weeks every 3-4 months.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, I just wish there was more to do in the game. To Clarify, there are TONS of things to do, but the price to be paid is just TO HIGH...

CLARITY. I've got almost 1000 Divines into my character. I SHOULD HAVE NO ISSUES WITH ENDGAME, but here we are.

1) I agree there are too many explosions. The on-death effect is quite alot, on top of puddles and everything. It really impacts melee way more than range classes. This I'm not entirely sure why but it's getting a bit much tbh. If youre having issues with this as a ranged class, it's entirely a skill issue. As melee you just have to walk around it.

2)Deli Fog has to go period. Should make it an outline on the edges of the screen

3) Ability clutter is the same. Some spells literally cover the screen and can't see anything on the ground. the biggest issue with this is the on-death explosions and puddles are completely hidden due to the muddying of effects.

4) Gear - well there has to be some bad mods, so that crafting isn't brain dead determined, there has to be some RNG effect so that when you do land that good mod, it FEELS good. There's no yin without the yang.

5) This is trade based game. I've done all content in SSF however, it's absolutely do-able btw. You can beat the entire game without buying ANYTHING. Trust me on this because I've done it on SSF. You just need to craft/slam gamble with ange. You should try it, it'll force you to interact with everything mechanic in the game, including different types of vendors (expedition ones too), and you'll realize, you don't need drops/buy gear to actually play the game at all.

6)I agree juicing maps is incredibly tedious.

7)Crafting is better than ever. You can craft everything with currencies you find and beat the entire game. I did it on SSF with 0 rarity, with just vendoring items as you level to crafting with white bases in the game with literal exalt slamming. Ritual is currently broken so I coudn't craft any GG items but you can craft REALLY decent items even without omens and etc.
